Linkedin Job Scraping extracts public job listings from LinkedIn Jobs for any keywords and location and returns the job title, company, location, link and the full job description for every posting. It is a lightweight LinkedIn Jobs API alternative with a three-field input: no LinkedIn account, no cookies, no browser extension.

It reads LinkedIn's public guest job pages only. It does not log in, apply to jobs, or collect data about LinkedIn members or job posters.

What does Linkedin Job Scraping do?

  • Searches LinkedIn's public job search for your keywords and location, page by page (about 10 jobs per page).
  • Fetches the full description text of every job over plain HTTP, with a headless Chrome fallback only when the HTTP source returns nothing.
  • De-duplicates jobs by LinkedIn job ID across pages.
  • Saves results page by page, so a stopped or timed-out run keeps everything scraped so far.

Who is Linkedin Job Scraping for?

  • Sales and SDR teams looking for companies that are hiring, as a buying signal.
  • Recruiters and staffing agencies tracking open roles in a city or niche.
  • Job market analysts measuring demand for skills, titles and locations.
  • Developers and AI builders who need full job descriptions as text for classification, matching or RAG.

Use cases for LinkedIn job data

  • Find companies hiring SDRs, engineers or marketers in a target city and reach out while the need is fresh.
  • Build a weekly feed of new roles into Google Sheets, Slack or a CRM.
  • Analyse job descriptions with an LLM to extract required skills, seniority or tech stack.
  • Track hiring trends for competitors or a market over time.

TitlestringJob title
CompanystringCompany offering the job

A run summary (pages processed, total jobs, final status) is stored in the key-value store under RUN_METADATA.

How to scrape LinkedIn jobs

  1. Open the Actor and go to the Input tab.
  2. Enter Job Keywords, for example SDR or python developer.
  3. Enter Job Location, for example Paris or United States.
  4. Set Maximum Pages. Each page holds about 10 jobs.
  5. Click Start and download the jobs from the Output tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

How much will it cost to scrape LinkedIn jobs?

You pay only per result, no subscription and no rental. One result is one job saved to the dataset. Run statistics are stored separately and are not charged as results. A small standard Actor start event also applies.

Current prices, including volume discounts on higher Apify plans, are on the Pricing tab. Set a maximum cost per run and the run stops when that limit is reached.

Input

See the Input tab for all options. This is the input of the run used for the output below:

{
"keywords": "SDR",
"location": "Paris",
"max_pages": 1
}
  • max_pages: about 10 jobs per page. The run stops early when LinkedIn has no more results.
  • proxyConfiguration (optional, off by default): turn it on if the log shows many 429 or 999 responses. Apify Proxy usage is billed to your account.

Output

You can download the dataset in various formats such as JSON, HTML, CSV, or Excel. First 3 of 10 jobs from a real run (SDR in Paris); job IDs and long descriptions are shortened here:

Tips for scraping LinkedIn jobs

  • Start with max_pages: 1 to check the results, then scale up.
  • LinkedIn's guest search usually shows at most about 1,000 jobs per query. Split large searches by location or keyword.
  • If you see empty results or many 429 responses, enable the proxy option.

Integrations: API, AI agents (MCP), Make, Zapier and n8n

  • Apify API: start runs and fetch jobs from Python, JavaScript or cURL. See the API tab.
  • AI agents (MCP): add quaking_pail/linkedin-job-scraping through the Apify MCP server so Claude, Cursor or your own agent can pull live job listings.
  • No-code: send new jobs to Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable or your CRM with the Apify integrations for Make, Zapier and n8n, or with webhooks.
  • Scheduling: run the same search every morning and only process the new rows downstream.

FAQ, disclaimers and support

You should be aware that your results could contain personal data. Personal data is protected by the GDPR in the European Union and by other regulations around the world. You should not scrape personal data unless you have a legitimate reason to do so. If you're unsure whether your reason is legitimate, consult your lawyers.

Job descriptions can contain personal data, such as a recruiter's name or contact details. You are responsible for making sure that your scraping and your use of the results are legal, including LinkedIn's terms and data protection rules where you operate.

Do I need a LinkedIn account or cookies?

No. The Actor only uses LinkedIn's public guest job pages.

Why did I get fewer jobs than expected?

LinkedIn may return fewer results for narrow searches, or rate-limit requests. Check the run log and RUN_METADATA, and try enabling the proxy.

How do I report a problem or request a field?

Open an issue in the Issues tab with the run ID. If the Actor saved you time, a rating on the Reviews tab helps other users find it.
