First off, I want to sincerely apologize for the recent service interruptions and the frustration it’s caused. We were fully aware of the issues with the crawler being blocked, particularly the 403 errors, and we understand how disruptive this has been — especially for paying users.
The root cause was a combination of Wellfound’s increasingly aggressive bot protection measures and a significant increase in usage, which placed a heavier load on the actor than before. We’ve since deployed a more sophisticated solution to handle this new level of demand and protection, and it’s now live in production.
We’d truly appreciate it if you could give it another try and let us know if things are working more smoothly for you now. Your feedback is critical, and we’re committed to providing the most reliable experience possible.
