Scrapes Reddit and returns a ranked attention queue: brand monitoring, mention tracking, sentiment analysis, and breakout detection in one run. Drop-in compatible with existing Reddit scraper workflows. $0.002 per record.
1.1 (2026-08-21) — Use your own Reddit app credentials to get full results
Reddit now requires sign-in for the public pages this actor reads, so runs without credentials return little or nothing
Add your own Reddit app client ID and secret in the input and the actor reads through the official Reddit API on your own quota
Create a free app at reddit.com/prefs/apps in about two minutes; the credentials are stored encrypted and never appear in logs or output
Community subscriber counts are now returned as real figures instead of zero
1.1 (2026-08-21) — Fixed runs returning no results when Reddit blocked the request
Blocked requests were not being retried, so a run could finish with no posts even though the data was reachable on a second attempt
Requests are now retried against a fresh session, and the page is given time to load before it is read
A run that is fully blocked and returns nothing now fails instead of reporting success with an empty result
1.1 (2026-06-20) — Restored data flow after Reddit blocked its JSON API
Reddit's edge now returns 403 on the public .json endpoints (server snooserv,
Fastly), which had silently dropped every mode to zero records. Switched the whole
extraction substrate to the old.reddit.com HTML pages, which serve 200 with no
login for listings, post + comment threads, user profiles, and search. Output
record shapes are unchanged. One degradation: community member counts are not
exposed on logged-out old.reddit, so numberOfMembers reports 0 in communities mode.
1.0 (2026-05-23) — Fix: rare hang when cross-run monitor memory is unavailable
