Instagram Post Scraper extracts public Instagram posts from usernames, profile URLs or single post, reel and TV URLs: captions, likes, comments, media links and more. Filter by date, skip pinned posts. No login or cookies. Export to JSON, CSV or Excel, or use the API.
Add one or more Instagram usernames (natgeo or @natgeo), profile URLs (https://www.instagram.com/natgeo/), or single post / reel / tv URLs (https://www.instagram.com/p/SHORTCODE/, /reel/SHORTCODE/, /reels/SHORTCODE/ or /tv/SHORTCODE/). Each profile returns its posts; each post link returns that one post. Duplicates are removed. Story links, /explore/ links and /share/ links are not supported and are skipped with a warning.
[ "https://www.instagram.com/natgeo/"]Maximum number of posts to return per profile, read across as many pages as needed. Ignored for single post / reel / tv URLs (one link always returns one row). Free plan: up to 20 posts per run (all usernames and post links together) and 200 per month; paid plans have no limit.
Leave out the posts pinned to the top of the profile grid being scraped. Off by default. Collaboration posts that are pinned on somebody else's grid are kept.
Only return profile posts newer than this cutoff (UTC). Pick a date here, or, when you start the run through the API or the JSON editor, type a YYYY-MM-DD date, a full ISO timestamp, or a relative value such as '30 minutes', '6 hours', '3 days', '1 week', '2 months' or '1 year'. A value that cannot be understood stops the run instead of being silently ignored. Leave empty for no cutoff.
Detailed data additionally returns alt text, a sample of up to 10 newest comments, the first comment, music/audio info and the paid-partnership flag, and adds the second play-count field on videos (Instagram does not show play counts to logged-out visitors, so it stays empty). Basic data leaves those fields out and is a little faster for posts that are not carousels. Both levels save one row per post and are charged the same per row.
Proxy used for Instagram requests. The default is Apify Proxy with the RESIDENTIAL group. Datacenter groups also work but are more likely to be rate-limited. If the selected proxy is not available or keeps getting blocked, the actor also tries a direct connection so the run still returns posts. If you turn Apify Proxy off, the actor connects directly.
