Search Eventbrite like a visitor does: type a keyword and a city name, pick dates, category, price or online events, and get every matching event as one clean row. Each row has the dates, venue address with coordinates, organizer with followers and social links, ticket prices, sold-out status and the cover image. Run many searches in one go; an event found by two searches is saved once.

Use cases

  • Event marketers can track every new event in their niche and city each week.
  • Ticketing and venue teams can monitor competitor events, prices and sold-out shows.
  • Sales teams can build lead lists of event organizers with website and social links.
  • City guides and newsletters can fill their event calendars automatically.
  • Analysts can compare event supply and ticket prices across cities and categories.

How to use

  1. Add one entry per search to searches, for example a keyword and a city such as {"query": "jazz", "location": "Berlin"}.
  2. Set filters such as dates, category, price or online_only in an entry, or once outside the list for all searches.
  3. Set maxResults to the number of events you want for each search.
  4. Start the run. Each event gives one dataset row; pass its id to the Eventbrite Event Details Scraper for the full description.

FAQ

Rules depend on the source, location, data type, and intended use. Check applicable laws and source terms, and make sure your workflow follows privacy and data protection requirements.

What limits apply?

Submit up to 100 batch entries per run. Use maxResults to cap saved items for each entry and maxPages to limit pages for each entry. Results also depend on source availability and your Scrappa API plan.

Can I start runs through the Apify API?

Yes. Send a POST request to https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/thescrappa~eventbrite-events-scraper/runs with your Actor input, or use an Apify client library. Read the output from the run dataset.

Can I connect the results to other tools?

Yes. Apify integrations and APIs can pass dataset results to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, and other data workflows.

What happens when one input fails?

The Actor logs a short source error and continues with the remaining entries. Transient rate limits and gateway errors are retried; if every entry fails, the run reports an error.

How many events can one search return?

Eventbrite shows up to about 1,000 events per search. For a bigger city, split the search by date range or category to get more events.

Why does the sort option return fewer events?

Eventbrite's sort by date, price or distance returns a smaller set of events instead of reordering the full list. Leave sort empty to get all matching events.

How does the city name work?

The Actor looks up the city on Eventbrite and uses the best matching city. The run log shows which place it picked. Use place_id for an exact place.
