Google Maps Scraper with Emails & Contacts
Scrape Google Maps places and get their emails — no add-on fees. Search any business type in any city and get places with rating, reviews, phone, address, hours and coordinates, plus emails and socials from their websites.
Search any business type in any city and get the places with rating, reviews, phone, address, opening hours and coordinates. Turn on contacts and the Actor also opens each business website and pulls emails, social profiles and the tech stack — the part Google Maps never gives you.
How to use
- Sign up for Apify — the free plan's monthly credit is enough to try this Actor.
- Open Google Maps Email Scraper, fill in the input (the form is pre-filled with a working example) and click Start.
- Watch results stream into the dataset table while the run is going.
- Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, HTML or RSS — or pull the results from your own code with the Apify API.
Why use this Google Maps scraper?
Most Maps Actors charge a low base price and then bill extra for every useful thing: place details, contact enrichment, social profiles, email verification. A 100-place run with contacts can end up costing more than $17.
Here it is one price per place, everything included.
What can you do with Google Maps data?
- Build lead lists — "dentists in Austin" with emails, phones and websites, ready for outreach.
- Find businesses with no website — turn on
onlyPlacesWithoutWebsitefor a clean web-design prospect list, complete with phone numbers. - Competitor and market research — ratings, review counts, price level and opening hours across a whole city.
- Local SEO audits — see who ranks, what category they use, and which sites run WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot and so on.
How to scrape Google Maps
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
searchTerms | What to look for: "dentist", "coffee shop", "plumber" |
locations | Where: "Austin, TX", "Seoul, South Korea". Every term runs for every location |
startUrls | Or paste your own Google Maps search URLs |
includeContacts | Open each business website for emails, socials and tech stack |
includePlaceDetails | On by default. Reads each place page for website, phone, full address, plus code, categories and description |
minRating, minReviews | Skip weak listings before anything is charged |
onlyPlacesWithWebsite / onlyPlacesWithoutWebsite | Two opposite lead lists |
includeAds | Sponsored results are skipped unless you turn this on |
language, countryCode | Search as a local would, e.g. ko / kr |
maxPlacesPerSearch, maxResults | Limits |
Input reference
Every option at a glance. A minimal input that works as-is:
{"searchTerms": ["coffee shop"],"locations": ["Austin, TX"],"maxPlacesPerSearch": 50,"maxContactPagesPerSite": 4,"language": "en","countryCode": "us","maxResults": 1000,"includePlaceDetails": true,"detailConcurrency": 4}
All fields:
searchTerms(What to search for) — Business types or names, e.g. “dentist”, “coffee shop”, “plumber”.locations(Where) — Cities or areas, e.g. “Austin, TX”, “Berlin”. Every search term is run for every location.startUrls(Google Maps URLs (optional)) — Paste Google Maps search URLs to reuse a search you set up yourself.maxPlacesPerSearch(Max places per search) — Google shows at most ~120 places for one search; ask for more and you get what exists. Default50.includeContacts(Find emails and socials) — Opens each business website and pulls emails, social profiles and the tech stack. This is what Google Maps itself never gives you. Defaultfalse.maxContactPagesPerSite(Pages per website) — How many pages to check on each business site (home, contact, about…). Default4.minRating(Min rating) — Skip places rated below this (1-5). Places with no rating are skipped.minReviews(Min reviews) — Skip places with fewer reviews than this.onlyPlacesWithWebsite(Only with a website) — Keep only places that list a website. Defaultfalse.onlyPlacesWithoutWebsite(Only without a website) — Keep only places with no website — a classic list for selling web design. Defaultfalse.language(Language) — Google Maps language, e.g. en, de, ko. Default"en".countryCode(Country) — Two-letter country code for the search, e.g. us, de, kr. Default"us".onlyNewPlaces(Only places that are new) — Monitoring mode. Remembers the places you already pulled for this search and returns only ones that appeared since. Great for catching newly opened businesses — and it skips the slow detail pages for places you already have. Defaultfalse.maxResults(Max results) — Total limit across all searches. Default1000.proxy(Proxy) — Apify Proxy is used by default. Google blocks repeated searches from one IP.includePlaceDetails(Open each place for full details) — Reads every place page for website, phone, full address with ZIP, plus code, all categories and the business description. On by default — it is fast, and most business types do not show a website or phone in the list. Defaulttrue.includeAds(Include sponsored results) — Google puts paid listings in the results. They are skipped unless you turn this on. Defaultfalse.detailConcurrency(Detail pages in parallel) — How many place pages to open at the same time when details or contacts are on. Default4.
What the Google Maps output looks like
One row per place. Real example from this Actor (with contacts on):
{"name": "ATX Family Dental","category": "Dentist","address": "1700 S 1st St","phone": "+15127173147","website": "https://www.atxfamilydental.com/","websiteDomain": "atxfamilydental.com","rating": 4.9,"reviewCount": 904,"priceLevel": null,"openStatus": "Closed · Opens 8 AM Mon","isAd": false,"latitude": 30.2482229,"longitude": -97.7559705,"dataId": "0x8644b4eb0b01986f:0x6b241d4769ed491e","cid": "7720327853776914718","googleMapsUrl": "https://www.google.com/maps?cid=7720327853776914718","searchTerm": "dentist","searchLocation": "Austin, TX","scrapedAt": "2026-09-19T02:34:22.414Z","plusCode": "66XV+7J Austin, Texas","openingHours": [{"day": "Friday","hours": "8 AM–4 PM"},{"day": "Saturday","hours": "Closed"},{"day": "Sunday","hours": "Closed"}],"emails": ["info@atxfamilydental.com"],"socialProfiles": {"instagram": "https://www.instagram.com/atxfamilydental/"},"technologies": ["WordPress","Cloudflare"],"contactPageUrl": "https://www.atxfamilydental.com/contact/","websiteReachable": true,"pagesChecked": 4}
How fast is it and how much does it cost to scrape Google Maps?
| Run | Time | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 20 places, list only | 25 s | name, category, address, rating, reviews, coordinates |
| 12 places + details + contacts | 70 s | everything above plus phone, website, hours, emails, socials, tech |
Measured on a 12-place dentist run: phone, website, rating and review count were filled for 100% of places; emails were found for 5 of 12 and social profiles for 9 of 12 (many small sites only publish a contact form).
How to monitor Google Maps for changes
Turn on onlyNewPlaces and the Actor remembers the places it already returned for that search. On the next run you get only businesses that appeared since — newly opened places, ready for outreach. Places you already have are skipped before their detail page is opened, which is where the time goes.
Limits you should know about
- Google shows at most ~120 places for one search. To go deeper, split by neighbourhood or use more specific terms.
- Sponsored listings are detected and skipped by default.
- Review counts are sometimes missing from the list view; with
includePlaceDetailsthey are read from the place page instead. - Works in any Maps language — Korean, German, Spanish results are parsed the same way.
Pricing — what you pay per place
This Actor uses pay-per-event pricing: no monthly rental, you pay for the results you get. Prices per 1,000 results by Apify plan:
| Event | Free plan | Bronze | Silver | Gold+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| place — One Google Maps place with details, and emails when contacts are enabled | $3.00 | $2.70 | $2.55 | $2.40 |
There is also a small start fee of $0.00005 per GB of memory ($0.0002 per run at the default 4 GB). Platform compute is included in the price — you are not billed separately for run time. Set a maximum total charge on the run if you want a hard cap, and use the input limits to control how much is fetched. The current prices are always on the Pricing tab.
Tips
- Start with a small
maxResults(say 20) to check the output, then raise it — you only pay per result. - For ongoing tracking, schedule the Actor and turn on
onlyNewPlacesso each run returns only what is new. - Already set up a search on the website? Paste its URL into
startUrlsand the filters in it are kept. - Keep the default
proxysetting — it is only used as a fallback when a direct request is blocked. - Rows the Actor cannot read are logged and skipped, never charged — check the run log if a count looks low.
Automate & schedule
Run this Actor on autopilot and pull results into your own stack:
- Apify API — start runs, fetch datasets and manage schedules over REST.
- apify-client for JavaScript and apify-client for Python — official SDKs.
- Schedules — run it on a cron to keep your data fresh.
- Webhooks — trigger downstream actions the moment a run finishes.
JavaScript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'MY_APIFY_TOKEN' });const run = await client.actor('tindacloud/google-maps-contacts-scraper').call({"searchTerms": ["coffee shop"],"locations": ["Austin, TX"],"maxPlacesPerSearch": 50,"maxContactPagesPerSite": 4,"language": "en","countryCode": "us","maxResults": 1000,"includePlaceDetails": true,"detailConcurrency": 4});const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();console.log(`Got ${items.length} records`);
Python
from apify_client import ApifyClientclient = ApifyClient("MY_APIFY_TOKEN")run = client.actor("tindacloud/google-maps-contacts-scraper").call(run_input={"searchTerms": ["coffee shop"],"locations": ["Austin, TX"],"maxPlacesPerSearch": 50,"maxContactPagesPerSite": 4,"language": "en","countryCode": "us","maxResults": 1000,"includePlaceDetails": True,"detailConcurrency": 4})for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():print(item)
cURL — run and get the results in one request:
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/tindacloud~google-maps-contacts-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=MY_APIFY_TOKEN" \-H "Content-Type: application/json" \-d '{"searchTerms": ["coffee shop"], "locations": ["Austin, TX"], "maxPlacesPerSearch": 50, "maxContactPagesPerSite": 4, "language": "en", "countryCode": "us", "maxResults": 1000, "includePlaceDetails": true, "detailConcurrency": 4}'
Integrate with any app
Connect the dataset to thousands of apps — no code required:
- Make — multi-step automation scenarios.
- Zapier — push new records straight into your CRM or sheet.
- n8n — self-hosted workflows.
- Slack — get notified when a run finishes or finds something new.
- Google Drive / Sheets — auto-export every run to a spreadsheet.

- Webhooks — call your own endpoint when a run succeeds or fails.
Use with AI assistants (MCP)
The output is clean, LLM-ready JSON. Call this Actor from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any agent framework through the Apify MCP server — ask your assistant to "list dentists in Austin, Texas with their phone numbers, websites and emails" and let it run this Actor for you.
Agent-ready: autonomous payments (x402 & Skyfire)
This Actor is agent-ready — AI agents can discover it, run it and pay for it on their own. It uses pay-per-event pricing and limited permissions, so it qualifies for Apify's agentic payments:
- x402 — an open, HTTP-native payment protocol. Agents pay in USDC through the Apify MCP server — no Apify account needed.
- Skyfire — agent-to-service payments with pre-funded Skyfire tokens.
Building an AI agent, MCP tool or data pipeline? This Actor is ready to plug in and pay as it goes.

Frequently asked questions about scraping Google Maps
Do I need an API key or a login?
No. Paste your input, press Start. There is nothing to connect and no account on the target site to create.
How do I export the results?
Every run produces a dataset you can download as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or read through the Apify API from your own code. You can also connect it to Make, Zapier or n8n.
Can I run this on a schedule?
Yes. Apify schedules run it every hour, day or week without you being there. With the monitoring option on, you only get places that appeared since the last run.
Can I call it from Python or JavaScript?
Yes — the Apify API runs any Actor and returns the dataset, and the official Python and JavaScript clients wrap it in a few lines. AI agents can call it too, through Apify's MCP server.
What does it cost?
You pay per result, not per hour. Filters are applied before anything is charged, so narrowing the input directly lowers the bill. Pages that cannot be read are reported in the log and never charged.
Is this data public?
Everything collected here is what Google Maps shows to anyone without logging in. Check the target site's terms and the rules that apply to you before using the data commercially.
