We have experienced an astronomical price increase in our API usage costs overnight, despite a consistent scraping workload. On 7/22, the costs were minimal, but on 7/24, the actor compute units and proxy residential data transfer costs surged dramatically without any significant changes in our scraping activities. The actor compute units rose from 0.1709 to 13.9091, and the proxy residential data transfer costs jumped from $0.000 to $20.244 in one case of only 394 records. We request your assistance in investigating and addressing the cause of this sudden spike to prevent future occurrences and to receive a refund for this as we were not notified of any increase like this nor did of our inputs change.
Hi there, the new version unfortunately has to use heavier tools and therefore the running costs went up. We are still working on ways how to make the runs cheaper but we can't guarantee it at the moment. If you will use the recommended memory 16GB for the next runs, it will cost approximately 1/3 of what your last runs did. If the price significantly changes next time, we will send emails to our users in advance.

Can you please explain what you mean by changing my recommended memory to 16 GB? Is this in my settings or the actor input? What does this mean and how will it affect the performance?
Hi! For example, your run from 25th of July with 130 results used memory 4GB (you can see it on the overview of all runs, memory is the last column). My tests have shown that it gets a bit cheaper/more effective when using memory 16GB (but not more). You can change the memory in the Input under "Run options". Or you can wait for the new version of this Actor which should address the current issues. I hope it will be ready within a week, we will inform you once it is ready.

Okay but, I just realized that is also not pulling review data anymore. This was the primary thing I was using it for. Are you planning to bring that back? The changed format also broke my application integration with this data so causing a lot of work. Unless this can be rolled back to what it was before your update very quickly than I am forced to abandon it for other options.
There will be a separate scraper for reviews but it will be easy to integrate them. Yes I hear you, the changes on the website also caused us a lot of work too. We are not planning to roll back the old version as it didn't work for the majority of users, but if it worked well for you, you can use the old build 0.0.66 (in Run options).
