Quick start

1. Pick up to 6 types (16 venue types, 20 vendor types) and up to 6 places (every US state and area, more than 1,200 cities, and 25 places outside the US such as Mexico, the Bahamas and Italy; type to search; a small town not listed is covered by its area).
2. Set Max results overall (default 50, 0 = everything). Every type and place pair is one listing. WeddingWire itself always lists vendors from towns up to 30 miles around a city, so the nearby box starts ticked; untick it to get only vendors located in the picked city.
3. Optional: tick Filters such as venue setting (indoor or outdoor), guests, price, owned by, or a vendor's style and services. Leave them empty to get everything.
4. Run the Actor. About 300 businesses take around 3 minutes.
5. Download your data in JSON, CSV, or Excel format.

FAQ

Do I get the full profile or just the listing card? The full profile: description, address, response time, years in business, owner name, travel range, services, badges and awards, plus everything from the listing card.

Why do some fields end with "Guess"? websiteGuess and emailGuess are found outside WeddingWire, on the public web and on the business's own site. They are marked as guesses so you can treat them with care. websiteGuessConfidence tells you how sure the match is.

Can I scrape more than one type or place in a run? Yes. Up to 6 types and up to 6 places per run, so up to 36 listings.

What about the whole state? Pick the "(whole state)" row in the places dropdown, or "(all areas)" for a place outside the US. WeddingWire shows about 500 businesses per type and place, so for a big state or area pick its areas or cities instead: each one is its own listing with its own 500 or so.

How do the filters work? Price, guests and owned by must match. For setting, amenities, venue kind and vendor details, a business that matches any one ticked option is kept. Venue filters only change venue types, and a row like "DJs: Hip Hop" only changes DJs. A filter for a type you did not pick (for example a Bands price with only DJs picked) stops the run at once with a message saying which filter, so you never pay for rows without the filter you wanted. A business that never filled in a detail (for example its price) drops out when you filter on that detail.

Will every business have an email, website or awards? No. Roughly 5 in 10 profiles get an email and about 7 in 10 without a listed website get a website guess. Awards and badges depend on the profile.

What if the Actor gets blocked or returns few results? Blocks are rare and retried automatically. If a run keeps failing, open an issue on this Actor's page first so it can be fixed for everyone. For anything else you can write to southdionysus@gmail.com.
