Scrapes data arbitrarily without clear reference points or criteria.

Scrapes data arbitrarily without clear reference points or criteria. Not happy with the output, only made me had to scrape more data.

This actor is designed to extract all potential contact details from a website to avoid missing useful data. However, we understand that a more targeted approach may be preferable in your case.
From your message, we inferred that by "reference points" you might mean the specific page URLs where each contact detail was found, and by "criteria," the filters used to exclude irrelevant data.
Could you clarify what you meant by "clear reference points and criteria"? If you share how you’d like the actor to behave differently, we can assess whether those changes are possible for this actor. It would be even better if you could provide examples of the desired behavior.

I mean it shouldnt be scraping meta data that has no purpose such as the youtubes team channels and infromation when it has absolutely nothing to do with the target. Not to mention the scraper takes more tiem to do this and wastes time creating spreadsheets that are barely legible not to mentino incomplete at times.

Thanks for the clarification.
We’re open to improving how relevance is handled. If you have a specific approach in mind—like rules based on URL paths, page structure, or naming patterns—we’d be glad to explore adding it as an option.
Just to clarify: many websites use different naming on their social media profiles or don’t link back to their domains directly. That’s why the actor avoids strict filters by default—to avoid missing valid contacts.
Also, data extraction itself accounts for only about 1% of the actor's total run time. The rest is spent waiting for websites to respond. So extracting a wider range of contacts doesn’t make the run significantly longer or more expensive. We include more data to give users flexibility for further data processing, not to create noise.
Regarding completeness of the spreadsheet, could you please share an example? We could investigate this if you have any missing contacts.
