Generate an image from a text prompt using FLUX Schnell, FLUX 1.1 Pro, or FLUX Kontext Max. Give it a prompt, get back a hosted image URL. No API key, no subscription — billed per image via Apify Pay-Per-Event, payable with an Apify prepaid balance or an x402 USDC wallet on Base.

What it does

This Actor wraps a text-to-image generation service and returns one image per run. Four quality tiers are available:

Use base for drafts, mockups, and concept art. Use clean for product photos, stickers, and logo marks that need to drop onto any background. Use hd for hero images, wallpapers, and banner art. Use pro for professional product renders and brand marks where both resolution and a clean background matter.

You are only charged if an image is actually generated. A failed or errored run is not billed.

Pricing

Pay-per-event — you're billed one of the four events above, matching the tier you asked for. There is no run-start fee beyond Apify's own platform event. Nothing is charged if generation fails.

Prompting tips

• Be specific about subject, style, lighting, and composition — "a red panda astronaut floating in space, retro sci-fi illustration style" outperforms "space panda."
• For clean or pro tiers (background removal), describe a single clear subject — busy multi-subject scenes cut out less cleanly.
• For hd, prompt as if for a full scene; the 4x upscale sharpens detail that's already in the base render, it doesn't add detail that wasn't described.
