LinkedIn Hiring Signals at a glance

  • Input: Role or skill terms like "VP Sales", with alternatives joined by OR, or LinkedIn jobs search links. Not company names: to see who one company is hiring, use Company Jobs Scraper with its domain, plus locations and a posted-within window.
  • Output: one row per company with 14 fields, including company, openings, website, industry.
  • Price: $10 per 1,000 companys, charged only for results.
  • You need: nothing else. No cookies, no logins, no proxies and no API keys.
  • Export: JSON, CSV, Excel or XML, or straight into your own tools with the Apify API and MCP.

What is LinkedIn Hiring Signals?

Turns public LinkedIn job postings into a list of companies hiring for the roles you care about. Give it role or skill searches, with alternatives joined by OR, and up to 10 locations. Every row is one company: how many matching openings it has, their titles and locations, the newest posting date, links to the openings, and from its company page, its website, industry, size and headquarters. Ranked by openings, from the past month by default. No login or cookies, and never recruiter or employee names. Searches with no hiring company are skipped and not charged. Built for sales prospecting, recruiting agencies and account based marketing.

  • One row per company. Every company hiring for your search, with how many matching openings and which titles.
  • Across many places at once. Up to 10 locations per run, merged so a company hiring in Dallas and Wichita is one row.
  • Ready for outreach. Website, industry, size and headquarters from the company page.
  • Fresh by default. Counts openings from the past month unless you say otherwise.
  • No personal data. Companies and job posts only, never recruiter or employee names.

What data can I extract with LinkedIn Hiring Signals?

Every result is one row per company, with these fields:

The table view in Apify shows Company, Openings, Website, Industry, Size, Newest, LinkedIn. The full record is in the JSON, CSV, Excel and XML exports, and over the API.

How to use LinkedIn Hiring Signals

  1. Open LinkedIn Hiring Signals in the Apify Console. A free Apify account is enough to try it.
  2. Paste your searches, one per line, or upload a list.
  3. Click Start. Each search is processed on its own, so one bad entry never loses the batch.
  4. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or send them to your own tools with an integration.

Input

One field: searches. Role or skill terms like "VP Sales", with alternatives joined by OR, or LinkedIn jobs search links. Not company names: to see who one company is hiring, use Company Jobs Scraper with its domain.

locations runs every search in each place, up to 10, like Texas or London, and merges the companies (default: anywhere).

postedWithin counts only openings posted in the past 24h, week or month (default month), or any.

maxCompanies caps how many companies come back per search, most openings first (default 50, at most 500).

includeCompanyDetails adds each company's website, industry, size and headquarters (default on).

strictTitles counts only openings whose title has every word of the search or of one OR alternative (default on). Off counts everything LinkedIn returns.

Every line is checked before the run starts. Each must be job search terms like "data engineer", or a LinkedIn jobs search link; a run with any other line is refused with that line named, so a typo never costs you anything.

"VP Sales OR Chief Revenue Officer"

Output

A search with no hiring company is skipped and costs nothing. The run log names every one that was skipped, so a short result is never a mystery.

How much does LinkedIn Hiring Signals cost?

LinkedIn Hiring Signals costs $10 per 1,000 companys returned, which is $0.01 each, with no separate compute charge. 10,000 companys cost $100.

  • You pay only for results. A search with no hiring company is skipped and costs nothing.
  • Try it on the free plan. On Apify's free plan you get 50 companys from this Actor in total, not per month, to try it out. After that a run stops and asks you to move to a paid Apify plan. Paid plans have no limit. On a paid plan, $5 covers about 500 companys.
  • Volume discounts. Scale plans pay 5% less per result and Business plans 10% less.
  • Cap any run. Set a maximum cost per run in the run options and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.

Common use cases

  • Sales prospecting. A company hiring a VP of Sales or a CRO is about to build a team and buy the tools that come with it.
  • Recruiting agencies. Find the companies hiring the roles you place, ranked by how many they have open.
  • Account based marketing. Feed accounts with live hiring intent into your CRM each week.
  • Market mapping. See which companies are hiring for a skill in a region.

Integrate LinkedIn Hiring Signals with other apps

LinkedIn Hiring Signals works with the integrations on the Apify platform, including Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, Airbyte, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Slack. Results can also go anywhere with a webhook when a run finishes.

To keep a list current, save your input as a task and put it on a schedule.

FAQ

What do I give it?

Role or skill searches like "VP Sales" or "data engineer". Join alternatives with OR, like "VP Sales OR Chief Revenue Officer". You can also paste a LinkedIn jobs search link.

How is this different from a jobs scraper?

It returns companies, not postings. Openings from all your locations are merged into one row per company and ranked by how many match.

Up to 500, most openings first. Each location is read up to 200 postings deep.

Do I need a LinkedIn account or cookies?

No. It reads public job postings and company pages only.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. On Apify's free plan you get 50 companys from this Actor in total to try it, charged to your free Apify credit. After that, runs stop and ask you to move to a paid Apify plan, which has no limit.

Do I need cookies, a login or proxies?

No. LinkedIn Hiring Signals works without cookies, accounts, proxies or API keys. Paste your searches and run it; everything else is handled for you.

LinkedIn Hiring Signals collects only publicly available public job postings and company pages on LinkedIn, without recruiter or employee names. As with any data collection, you are responsible for how you use the results: follow the terms of the websites you work with and data protection laws such as GDPR wherever personal data is involved. If you are unsure about your use case, check with a lawyer.

Does LinkedIn Hiring Signals have an API?

Yes. Every run is available through the Apify API, with the JavaScript and Python examples above, and through the Apify MCP server for AI agents.
