LinkedIn People Search at a glance
- Input: Companies: a name like Stripe, a website like stripe.com, or a LinkedIn company page, plus the roles you are looking for.
- Output: one row per person with 16 fields, including company, name, headline, location.
- Price: $3 per 1,000 persons, plus $4 per 1,000 people with profile details when you switch on profile details and the person's public profile could be read. People whose profile could not be read are not charged for it.
- You need: nothing else. No cookies, no logins, no proxies and no API keys.
- Export: JSON, CSV, Excel or XML, or straight into your own tools with the Apify API and MCP.
What is LinkedIn People Search?
Finds people by job title at the companies you give. For each company (a name, its website or its LinkedIn page) and each role, like "VP Sales" or "recruiter", you get one row per person: name, LinkedIn headline, profile link, current employer, location and school, with whether the employer is confirmed as that company and whether the headline carries your role. By default only confirmed employees are returned. Switch on profile details to add about text, full location, followers, languages and the employer's LinkedIn page, charged only when a profile is read. Public information only, no login or cookies. Built for sales prospecting, recruiting and account research.
- People by role. Name, headline and profile link for each person in the roles you ask for.
- Employer checked. Only people whose current employer is the company, by default.
- Any company input. A company name, its website, or its LinkedIn page.
- Optional profile details. About text, full location, followers, languages and the employer link, charged only when read.

companyLinkedinUrl | The company's LinkedIn page, when found |
name | Full name |
headline | Their LinkedIn headline, usually the job title and employer |

How to use LinkedIn People Search
- Open LinkedIn People Search in the Apify Console. A free Apify account is enough to try it.
- Paste your companies, one per line, or upload a list.
- Click Start. Each company is processed on its own, so one bad entry never loses the batch.
- Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or send them to your own tools with an integration.
Input
One field: companies. Companies: a name like Stripe, a website like stripe.com, or a LinkedIn company page.
roles lists the job titles to look for, like "VP Sales" or "recruiter" (up to 10). Leave it empty to find anyone at the company.
location optionally narrows the search to a place, like "Texas" or "London".
maxPeoplePerCompany caps how many people come back for each company (default 25, up to 100).
confirmedOnly (default on) keeps only people whose current employer is confirmed as the company. Turn it off to also get people who only mention it, flagged.
includeProfile reads each person's public profile for about text, full location, followers, languages and the current company's LinkedIn page (default off), charged only when the profile could be read. It also double-checks the employer against the company's own LinkedIn page.
Every line is checked before the run starts. Each must be a company name, a domain or a LinkedIn company page; a run with any other line is refused with that line named, so a typo never costs you anything.
{"companies": ["stripe.com"],"roles": ["VP Sales","Head of Sales"],"location": "United States","maxPeoplePerCompany": 25,"confirmedOnly": true,"includeProfile": false}
Output
A company with no matching people is skipped and costs nothing. The run log names every one that was skipped, so a short result is never a mystery.
{"query": "stripe.com","company": "Stripe","companyLinkedinUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/stripe/","name": "Erica Fox","headline": "Recruiter @ Stripe","profileUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/in/ericaalexandrafox","currentCompany": "Stripe","location": "Boston","education": "Bentley University","companyConfirmed": true,"confirmedBy": "search","roleMatched": true}
How much does LinkedIn People Search cost?
LinkedIn People Search charges $3 per 1,000 persons returned ($0.003 each), only on success. Persons whose public profile was read also cost $4 per 1,000 ($0.004 each) on top, because each one takes its own page read; leave profile details off and you only pay for the people. There is no separate compute charge. For example, 1,000 people cost $3, and 1,000 people that all come with profile details cost $7.
- You pay only for results. A company with no matching people is skipped and costs nothing.
- Try it on the free plan. On Apify's free plan you get 50 persons from this Actor in total, not per month, to try it out. After that a run stops and asks you to move to a paid Apify plan. Paid plans have no limit.
- Volume discounts. Scale plans pay 5% less per result and Business plans 10% less.
- Cap any run. Set a maximum cost per run in the run options and the Actor stops cleanly when it is reached.
Common use cases
- Sales prospecting. Find the VP Sales, CRO or Head of Growth at each account on your list.
- Recruiting. Map who holds a role at the companies you hire from.
- Account research. See who the decision makers are before outreach.
- CRM enrichment. Add the right contacts to the accounts you already have.
Integrate LinkedIn People Search with other apps
LinkedIn People Search works with the integrations on the Apify platform, including Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, Slack, Airbyte, Google Sheets, HubSpot, LinkedIn Hiring Signals, to find the companies hiring for a role first. Results can also go anywhere with a webhook when a run finishes.
To keep a list current, save your input as a task and put it on a schedule.

FAQ
How do I find employees of a company on LinkedIn?
Give the company by name, website or LinkedIn page and the roles you want, like "Head of Marketing". You get the matching people with name, headline, profile link and location, with the employer confirmed, without a LinkedIn login.
Can I find decision makers at a list of companies?
Yes. Pass many companies and roles in one run; each company is searched separately and companies with no matches are not charged.
Do I need a LinkedIn account or cookies?
No. It works from public information only, with no login, so your account is never at risk.
Where does the job title come from?
From the public headline each person shows on LinkedIn, which usually carries their title and employer.
How is the employer confirmed?
From the employer LinkedIn shows next to the person, or the headline naming the company as where they work. With profile details on, it is also checked against the company's own LinkedIn page, which tells apart companies with the same name.
Do I get emails?
No. It returns public LinkedIn information only.
How many people per company?
Up to 100. Each role is a separate search, so more roles find more people.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. On Apify's free plan you get 50 persons from this Actor in total to try it, charged to your free Apify credit. After that, runs stop and ask you to move to a paid Apify plan, which has no limit.
Do I need cookies, a login or proxies?
No. LinkedIn People Search works without cookies, accounts, proxies or API keys. Paste your companies and run it; everything else is handled for you.
Is it legal to use LinkedIn People Search?
LinkedIn People Search collects only publicly available public LinkedIn profile information. As with any data collection, you are responsible for how you use the results: follow the terms of the websites you work with and data protection laws such as GDPR wherever personal data is involved. If you are unsure about your use case, check with a lawyer.
Does LinkedIn People Search have an API?
Yes. Every run is available through the Apify API, with the JavaScript and Python examples above, and through the Apify MCP server for AI agents.
