Build a focused company list from Map Your Show event directories. Select countries and product categories, combine several events, and receive one row per matched company with its event appearances and booth numbers.

Maintained by JAFF Consulting B.V., Netherlands.

What you get

  • Company name, published website, company address, country and business phone when available.
  • Product categories and the directory's company description.
  • Event name, booth numbers and source profile URL for every appearance.
  • A stable company identifier for combining exports across runs.
  • Optional new / previously_seen labels using company IDs from an earlier run.
  • A RUN_SUMMARY report showing exactly how many profiles were examined, source failures and whether limits prevented a complete scan.

Employee names, personal contact records and login-only details are excluded.

Quick start

  1. Add one or more HTTPS *.mapyourshow.com/8_0/ event URLs.
  2. Optionally enter countries and category keywords.
  3. Set your profile scan limit and maximum output rows.
  4. Run the Actor and export the dataset as CSV, Excel or JSON.
  5. Open RUN_SUMMARY in the run's key-value store to check coverage.
{
"eventUrls": ["https://ibex26.mapyourshow.com/8_0/"],
"countries": ["United States"],
"categories": ["Boat Transport"],
"maxProfilesPerEvent": 100,
"maxResults": 100
}

The default scans the first 100 profiles alphabetically per event. For a full directory, increase maxProfilesPerEvent above the directory's exhibitor count. Filters are applied to the company profiles after retrieval: a narrow filter can still require scanning the whole directory. Results may be empty if the requested companies occur after the scan limit.

Filters

Country matching is case-insensitive and exact, with common aliases (US, USA, UK, GB, NL, DE, FR). Use the source's country name for other countries. Category matching uses case-insensitive substring matching across the full category path. Several countries use OR, several categories use OR, and the two filter groups use AND. A missing country/category never matches a requested filter.

Filters embedded in an input URL are not used; set countries and categories explicitly.

Deduplication and repeat research

Companies with the same normalized name and website hostname receive the same company ID. If a website is unavailable, the normalized name and country are used instead. This deliberately keeps different named businesses on a shared website separate. Name or website changes may produce a new ID. Corporate subsidiaries and rebrands are not resolved automatically.

For repeat research, copy the COMPANY_IDS JSON array from an earlier run into previousCompanyIds. These labels identify newly observed companies within the scanned data; they do not establish that a company has left an event.

Coverage and limits

Version 1 supports public Map Your Show directories on *.mapyourshow.com using /8_0/. Custom domains, other directory platforms, login-protected pages and JavaScript-only layout variants are not supported. Site changes, unavailable fields and source failures are reported explicitly. Source websites can change during a run, so an export is an observation at retrieval time.

Up to 10 events, 10,000 scanned profiles per event and 10,000 output companies are accepted. The Actor also respects Apify's run spending limit. It stops safely before the run timeout and after at most 30 minutes, returning the profiles already read with an explicit partial-scan warning. Increase the run timeout for larger directories; the default 100-profile scan typically needs a few minutes. Use a small first run to confirm that your event's profile layout is supported.

Pricing

$4 per 1,000 delivered company records ($0.004 each), plus the small Actor-start fee displayed in Apify's Pricing tab. Duplicates merged into one company are billed once. Filtered-out profiles and the coverage report are not billable result records. The current Pricing tab is authoritative.

Apify Free-plan credits can be used to try a small run. There is no recurring subscription for this Actor.
