Hello, what is the best setup to avoid getting banned from LinkedIn? How many runs per day? What are the limits?

I know there are some details about this in the "Information" tab, but I really want to make sure I have the best setup to avoid any issues.

Thanks!

Hey mate,

When it comes to getting banned what I have seen is that your cookie will first get expired if it has been marked as suspicious. This would happen if you’re doing what Facebook would suggest as being non human like activity, jump from window to window, or from search results to another within split seconds.

When you run the scraper, it basically goes to the search results list one page at a time. It will pause between 10-30 seconds (set randomly) between each page and then go to the next page. Each page has 25 results.

So thinking that you want to try behave as human as possible but still be faster than a human else it might be better off paying someone from overseas to collect the information for you.

I suggest that you do 10 pages at a time and then have a good breather inbetween. That can look like an hour or less depending if you want to be conservative or you don’t mind too much.

The thing is, if you scrape too much the cookie will be expired and you have to log back in and set everything up. It can be quite a bit of trial and error to find the best tempo to get the fastest with the smallest chance of getting you cookie expired. Now your account will get banned once you’ve had your cookie expired multiple times.

In my experience I havnt had my account blocked but I know many people who have. I have used my own personal account which has been around on linkedin for many years which I believe plays a factor.

If your account is brand new then the threshold is likely very low for those accounts.

It’s not an exact science, at least in my eyes, as no one knows exactly how linkedins bot detectors work but hopefully this helps!

Thank you. So if I do 5,6 pages only per day it should be fine right ?

Thanks
