LoopNet Commercial Real Estate Scraper
Scrape LoopNet commercial real estate listings by location, property type, and sale or lease, up to a million per run. Each listing returns its price, cap rate, building size, asking rent, and the listing broker and brokerage. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
LoopNet's official API is restricted to brokers and requires a paid CoStar subscription. This reads the public listing pages directly, filtered by location, property type, and listing type, and returns each match in one fixed schema. You get the asking price or rent, cap rate, building size, and listing broker wherever LoopNet shows them.
| Who uses it | What they scrape LoopNet for |
|---|---|
| Commercial real estate investors | Find off-market and listed properties that match their buy box in a target market |
| Brokers and agents | Monitor new listings and price changes in their territory to prospect owners |
| Market researchers | Track asking rents, cap rates, and vacancy by property type and submarket |
| Lead generation agencies | Build lists of property owners and listing brokers for outreach campaigns |
What it does
This Actor collects LoopNet commercial real estate listings by location, property type, and sale or lease, and returns each one as a flat row with financials and the listing broker.
- ๐ Location search: enter any city, state, or ZIP, and the Actor converts it to a LoopNet URL slug automatically.
- ๐ข Property type filter: office, retail, industrial, land, multifamily, hospitality, flex, special purpose, or health care, mapped to LoopNet's own categories. Multifamily, hospitality, and special purpose exist on LoopNet for sale only.
- ๐ฐ Listing type: scrape properties for sale or for lease, or run both in separate executions.
- ๐ Financial fields: asking price, cap rate, asking rent per square foot on lease listings, year built, and building size where listed.
- ๐ Listing broker: the broker names and the brokerage firm on each property, plus the listing ID, full address, and LoopNet's summary line.
Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.
What you can do with LoopNet data
๐ Track asking rents and cap rates.
A market researcher runs the Actor weekly for 'Los Angeles, CA' with property type 'office' and listing type 'for-lease', then charts asking rent trends by submarket.
๐ Build a broker outreach list.
A lead generation agency scrapes all 'for-sale' retail listings in 'Miami, FL', extracts broker name, and loads them into a CRM for cold outreach.
๐ข Find off-market multifamily deals.
An investor scrapes 'for-sale' multifamily listings in 'Chicago, IL', filters by cap rate above 6%, and shortlists properties for direct owner contact.
๐ Monitor new industrial listings.
A broker runs the Actor daily for 'Dallas, TX' with property type 'industrial', and gets an alert when a new warehouse hits the market in their farm area.
Why choose this scraper
| What you get | |
|---|---|
| No API key or login | LoopNet's official API is broker-only and paid. This reads the public pages directly. |
| Financials included | Asking price, cap rate, and asking rent per square foot are captured when the listing shows them. |
| Listing broker | Broker names and brokerage firm for each listing, ready for outreach. |
| Fixed flat schema | Every listing returns the same fields, so you can append runs and build a clean dataset. |
How it compares
This Actor focuses on search-based scraping with financial and broker contact fields, while the competitor below offers a broader set of detail-page fields and supports both US and UK LoopNet domains.
| Feature | ParseForge | LoopNet Scraper (It works) - US & UK |
|---|---|---|
| Search by location or keyword | Yes | Yes |
| Filter by property type | Yes | Not listed |
| Filter by listing type (sale or lease) | Yes | Yes |
| Listing broker and brokerage | Yes | Not listed |
| Financial fields (cap rate) | Yes | Yes |
| US and UK domains | No | Yes |
Configure the run
Drive the Actor from a location or property keyword, then narrow by listing type and property category. Filters are applied by LoopNet's own search, so only matches reach your dataset. The Input tab lists every parameter.
A first run with the defaults:
{"searchQuery": "Los Angeles, CA","maxItems": 10}
A larger pull:
{"searchQuery": "Los Angeles, CA","maxItems": 200}
Pricing
Pay-per-result: $0.016 per result collected. You pay only for the results written to your dataset.
| Results collected | Approximate cost |
|---|---|
| 100 results | $1.60 |
| 1,000 results | $16.00 |
| 10,000 results | $160.00 |
Optional extras (from 2026-10-03)
Two optional data blocks read from each listing page, both off by default. They share one extra request per listing. The price per result does not change, and a block that does not come back for a listing is never charged.
| Event | Price | Charged when |
|---|---|---|
apify-actor-start | $0.005 per GB of run memory | the run starts |
listing-detail | $0.006 per listing | includeListingDetails is on and the listing page came back with property facts, highlights or the full description |
broker-contact | $0.005 per listing | includeBrokerContact is on and the listing page came back with at least one phone number |
New Apify accounts start with $5 in free credit.

Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check that your searchQuery matches a real LoopNet location slug. Try a major city like 'Los Angeles, CA'. Also verify your listingType and propertyType filters are not too narrow. If you set propertyType to 'office' but the market has no office listings for that type, you will get zero rows. Multifamily, hospitality, and special purpose have no for-lease category on LoopNet, so those combinations return nothing and the log says why.
Why are some financial fields empty?
LoopNet only shows financials like cap rate on some listings, usually for-sale properties with broker-provided data. For-lease listings often omit them. The Actor returns null for missing fields, so you can filter them out in your dataset.
Why did the run stop before reaching maxItems?
The Actor stops when there are no more matching listings on LoopNet for your search. Try broadening your searchQuery to a larger metro area or clearing the propertyType filter.
Why is the broker missing on some listings?
Lower-tier LoopNet listings do not always name a broker on the search results. The Actor returns the broker names and brokerage firm when the search page shows them. Phone numbers and emails are not published on the search results, so they are not included.
Can I scrape a specific LoopNet listing URL?
This Actor is built for search-based scraping by location and filters. It does not accept direct listing URLs. Use the searchQuery input to find the property by its address or market.
FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do I need a LoopNet account or API key? | No. The Actor reads the public listing pages directly, so no login, API key, or CoStar subscription is required. |
| What locations can I search? | Any city, state, or ZIP that LoopNet recognizes. The Actor converts your input to a LoopNet URL slug, so 'Los Angeles, CA' becomes 'los-angeles-ca' automatically. |
| Can I scrape both for-sale and for-lease listings? | Yes, but in separate runs. Set the listingType input to 'for-sale' or 'for-lease'. Run the Actor twice to get both. |
| What property types are supported? | Office, retail, industrial, land, multifamily, hospitality, flex, special purpose, and health care. Leave the propertyType input empty to scrape all types. |
| Does the Actor return financial data like cap rate? | Yes, when the listing shows them. The Actor captures asking price, cap rate, price per square foot, and building size where available. |
| Does it include broker contact information? | It returns the listing broker names and brokerage firm when shown. Phone numbers and emails are not included. |
| How many listings can I scrape in one run? | Up to 1,000,000. Set the maxItems input to the number you need. The Actor stops when it reaches that count or runs out of matching listings. |
| What output formats are supported? | CSV, JSON, Excel, and XML. Choose the format in the Apify dataset settings after the run completes. |
| Can I schedule this Actor to run automatically? | Yes. Use Apify's scheduler to run it daily, weekly, or on a custom cron, and get notified when new listings appear. |
| Is this Actor affiliated with LoopNet or CoStar? | No. This is an independent scraper built by ParseForge. LoopNet is a trademark of CoStar Group, Inc., and this Actor is not endorsed by or affiliated with them. |
