Redfin Scraper

Get US homes for sale from redfin.com from any search: address, ZIP code, neighborhood, latitude and longitude, asking price, beds, baths, square feet, lot size, price per square foot, year built, stories, HOA dues, property type, listing status (active, coming soon…), days on market, MLS number, next open house, last sale date, key facts, start of the remarks, main photo. City, ZIP code, neighborhood or county searches, with the filters of the site (price, beds, property type…).

Plain HTTP requests, no browser: no login, no account, no cookies. The Actor reads only the public search pages and respects redfin.com's robots.txt. Redfin puts the whole result list of a search in its first page, so a search usually takes one request.

Typical uses

  • Investors and analysts: asking prices and price per square foot by ZIP code or neighborhood, every week (schedule a run).
  • Agents and brokerages: new listings and price changes in your farm area.
  • Market research: days on market, HOA dues, property mix by city.
  • Maps and BI: every home comes with its coordinates.
  • Spreadsheets and AI agents: clean rows for Google Sheets, n8n, Make, Zapier or an MCP client.

What you get

One row per home:

Missing values are always null, never guessed. No agent, broker, phone number or e-mail is collected; phone numbers, e-mails and links are removed from the remarks. A search without homes (or blocked, or unreadable) gets one free row with found: false, a status and a message.

Input

{
"searches": ["https://www.redfin.com/city/17151/CA/San-Francisco", "https://www.redfin.com/zipcode/94110"],
"maxResultsPerSearch": 100
}
  • searches: one redfin.com search URL per line, up to 100 per run. Search a city, ZIP code, neighborhood or county on Redfin, set your filters, then copy the address bar (for example https://www.redfin.com/city/17151/CA/San-Francisco/filter/property-type=house,max-price=1.5M).
  • maxResultsPerSearch: 1 to 350 (default 100). Redfin shows at most 350 homes per search; for more, split a search (ZIP codes, neighborhoods, price bands). totalResults tells you how many homes match.

Homes found by two of your searches are returned and billed once.

Pricing

Pay per event: one event per home returned, plus a small start fee per run.

Free: searches without homes, pages that are blocked or cannot be read, duplicates and input mistakes. On the free Apify plan, a run reads up to 3 searches and 40 homes per search.

FAQ

Is it legal? The Actor reads only pages anyone can see without an account, at a slow pace, and respects robots.txt. It keeps no data about agents or brokers. Redfin's terms of use restrict automated access: you are responsible for how you use the data. This is not legal advice.

Why are some searches empty or BLOCKED? If Redfin refuses a request (rate limit or bot check), the Actor stops that search and charges nothing beyond the results already delivered. If this happens after the first page, the run summary warns that the search stopped early and its results are partial. It never solves or bypasses a check. Try again later or with fewer searches per run.

Sold homes, rentals, full descriptions, price history? Not yet: the Actor reads the homes-for-sale search pages only. Need another field? Open an issue.
