Get remote jobs from three job boards in one list: Remote OK, We Work Remotely and Jobicy. This Remote jobs aggregator reads each board through the interface it publishes for outside use (the Remote OK JSON API, the Jobicy API v2 and the We Work Remotely RSS feeds), puts the results side by side, and merges the jobs that appear on more than one board into a single row. Every row names the board it came from and links to the original job page, so you can always send a candidate, a reader or a customer to the real listing.
Filter by keyword, category, place, salary and age, or leave everything empty for every remote job posted in the last 7 days. Schedule it with Only new rows and you get a daily feed of fresh remote jobs from three boards for the price of the new jobs only, without the repeats you would get from reading the boards one by one.

What you get
One row per job, the same columns whichever board the job came from:
- Job: title, company, job type (full-time, part-time, contract), seniority when the board states it, category, tags or skills, posting date and, for We Work Remotely, the expiry date
- Where it was found: the board (
Remote OK,JobicyorWe Work Remotely), the job page on that board (sourceUrl), the apply link as the board gives it (applyUrl) and the board's own job id - Also listed on: when the same job is posted on a second or third board, one row carries all of them:
alsoListedOnnames the other boards andotherSourceUrlsholds their links, one per line - Where you can work from: the places the employer accepts, as the board writes them (
Worldwide,USA,Europe,Argentina, Brazil, Portugal) - Pay: salary from and to, currency, period (year, month, hour) and a readable line such as
USD 120,000–160,000 per year, when the board shows a salary - Text: the job description as plain text, up to 20,000 characters, with e-mail addresses, phone numbers and contact-person names removed
Rows are sorted newest first, dates are in ISO format, and a field that the board does not give is empty instead of guessed.
Why this actor
- Three boards, one schema: the same field names and the same cleaning for Remote OK, Jobicy and We Work Remotely, so a spreadsheet, a database or a job board can take all three without three parsers.
- No duplicates, one charge: a job posted on two or three boards is delivered once and charged once. The first board in your
sourceslist wins, and the row tells you where else the job appears. - Read the way the boards ask: published APIs and RSS feeds, no web-page scraping, no login, no proxies, no CAPTCHA solving. The actor reads
robots.txtof each board first, waits between requests, and keeps Jobicy and We Work Remotely answers for 60 minutes, as the boards ask integrations to do. - Built for schedules: Only new rows remembers what you already received, and a webhook can tell Slack, Make, n8n or Zapier when something new arrives.
- Small and cheap: 256 MB of memory is enough and a full read of all three boards takes 20 to 30 seconds. You pay per job delivered, with a charge cap you set.
How to use it
- Open the Actor and fill in Keywords (the other fields are optional filters).
- Set Maximum job ads to a small number for a first try (the default is a safe start).
- Optional: tick Count only and start once. You get the number of matching rows and the estimated cost, for free (only the start event is charged). Untick it to get the data.
- Click Start. The status line shows progress; the run stops cleanly at your limit or at the charge limit you set in the run options.
- Open the Dataset tab and download JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or send the rows to Google Sheets, Slack, Make, n8n or Zapier with the Integrations tab.
- To run it on a schedule, use Schedules in Apify Console and turn on Only new rows since the last run below: every run then costs only the new rows, and a webhook URL tells you when something new came in.
Input
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
sources | Which boards to read: remoteok, jobicy, weworkremotely. Default: all three. The order matters for duplicates: the first board listed keeps the row |
keywords | Words to look for in the title, the tags and the description, any of them (python, customer success). Whole words only, so go does not match google. Empty = all jobs |
excludeKeywords | Drop jobs that have one of these words in the title or the tags (intern, unpaid) |
category | One of: software-development, design, marketing, sales, customer-support, product, data, devops-sysadmin, finance-legal, hr, writing, or all (default). See the table below |
locationContains | Keep jobs whose place text contains one of these words (Europe, USA, Worldwide, Canada). Common names are understood: USA also finds United States, Worldwide also finds Anywhere |
postedWithinDays | 1 to 30, default 7. Jobicy publishes only the last 7 days, so a longer window adds jobs from the other two boards only |
salaryOnly | Only jobs that show a salary. We Work Remotely feeds carry no salary, so its jobs are dropped when this is on |
includeDescription | The plain-text description (default on). Turn it off for a lighter table |
maxItems | Stop after this many job ads (default 500, 0 = all) |
countOnly, onlyNew, stateName, notifyUrl, notifyWhenEmpty | See Automation below |
requestIntervalMs | Pause between requests to the same board, default 1,000 ms, which is also the lowest value |
Example: Python jobs of the last 7 days from all three boards, the first 100.
{"keywords": ["python"],"postedWithinDays": 7,"maxItems": 100}
Example: remote marketing jobs that show a salary, Remote OK and Jobicy only.
{"sources": ["remoteok", "jobicy"],"category": "marketing","salaryOnly": true,"postedWithinDays": 30}
How the categories map to each board
The three boards do not share a category list, so each category is translated for each board. Where a board has no matching list, the actor filters by words in the title (the only way for Remote OK).
| Category | Jobicy industries | We Work Remotely feeds | Remote OK |
|---|---|---|---|
software-development | engineering | full-stack, back-end, front-end, programming | title words |
design | design and multimedia, web and app design | design (title checked too) | title words |
marketing | marketing and SEO (title checked, because the Jobicy marketing industry also holds sales jobs) | sales and marketing (title checked) | title words |
sales | sales, business | sales and marketing (title checked) | title words |
customer-support | customer support, technical support | customer support | title words |
product | management, project management | product | title words |
data | data science | the main feed and "all other", filtered by title words | title words |
devops-sysadmin | admin | devops and sysadmin | title words |
finance-legal | accounting and finance, legal | management and finance (title checked) | title words |
hr | HR | the main feed and management, by title words | title words |
writing | copywriting | the main feed and "all other", by title words | title words |
Remote OK has no category field, so the category column of its rows is filled from words in the title and stays empty when none fits. Its tags are written by the employers and often carry every popular word (18 of the 59 jobs of one 30-day read had the tag design, 3 had a design title), so only the title decides a Remote OK job's category. For We Work Remotely the category column is the board's own label. Employers choose it themselves, and some feeds mix topics, which is why the title is checked for the design, marketing, sales and finance categories.
Output
25 fields per row. Empty values are null, never missing, so CSV and Excel columns are stable.

How each board fills the fields
| Field | Remote OK | Jobicy | We Work Remotely |
|---|---|---|---|
id | remoteok: and the board's number | jobicy: and the board's number | weworkremotely: and the end of the job address |
applyUrl | the Remote OK job page | the Jobicy job page | the We Work Remotely job page |
jobType, seniority | taken from the board's tags when they name them (full time, contract, senior, junior); employers may tag several levels, so Senior, Executive can appear | the type and level fields | the type field; no seniority |
locationRestrictions | the location text of the listing, often empty | the regions or countries of the listing | the region, the countries and the state of the listing |
salaryMin, salaryMax | in US dollars per year, as the board states salaries; amounts under 1,000 are delivered without a period, because employers sometimes type an hourly rate there; a zero means no salary | the amounts with the currency and period of the listing | not published, always empty |
tags | the board's tags | empty | the skills of the listing |
expiresAt | empty | empty | the expiry date of the listing |
workplaceType is always Remote and isRemote is always true, since all three boards list remote work only.
Descriptions are cleaned the same way for all three boards: HTML becomes plain text with line breaks and bullet points kept. Remote OK ends many descriptions with an applicant test, a word and a code generated for each request that candidates are asked to mention. That sentence is not part of the job and would make the same job differ from one run to the next, so it is removed.

Results can be downloaded as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML from the Dataset tab, or read through the Apify API.

Pricing
Pay per result. You pay for each job ad delivered to your dataset, nothing else: no subscription, no minimum, no charge for rows your filters drop or for the requests behind them.
| Your Apify plan | Price per 1,000 rows | Price per row |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | $1.50 | $0.0015 |
| Starter plan | $1.30 | $0.0013 |
| Scale plan | $1.15 | $0.00115 |
| Business plan and above | $1.00 | $0.001 |
Example: 1,000 job ads cost $1.50 on the Free plan and $1.00 on the Business plan. Platform usage of the run (compute, storage) is included in that price and is not billed to you separately (pay per event: the actor covers it).
A start event of $0.00005 is charged once per run (Apify default).
Cap your spend: set Maximum total charge in the run options. The actor stops cleanly when the cap is reached and you keep everything delivered until then. The run summary (RUN_SUMMARY in the key-value store) says why a run stopped.
Check before you pay: turn on Count only to see how many rows match and what they would cost at your tier. That run delivers nothing and costs only the start event.
Only unique jobs delivered to your dataset are charged. Nothing is charged for a job that your filters drop, for a duplicate merged into another board's row, for a job that Only new rows skips because you already have it, for a request that a board refuses, or for a Count only run.
Automation: only new rows, notifications, schedules
Only new rows since the last run. Turn on onlyNew and the actor remembers every job ad it delivered to you (in a key-value store named rowcraft-remote-jobs-aggregator-state in your Apify account). The next run with the same stateName skips what you already have and you pay only for new rows. The first run delivers everything that matches. Use a different stateName for each schedule or search so they keep separate memories.
Notification when the run ends. Put a webhook address in notifyUrl and the actor sends one JSON POST with the number of new rows, links to the dataset (JSON and CSV) and the run. It works out of the box with Slack and Discord incoming webhooks (the message is in text and content), with Make, n8n and Zapier catch hooks, and with your own endpoint. By default it is sent only when there is at least one new row; notifyWhenEmpty sends it every time.
Schedules. Create a schedule in Apify Console (hourly, daily, weekly or cron) with onlyNew on. A daily schedule gives you a feed of new job ads for the price of the new rows only.
Integrations. Send the results to Make, n8n, Zapier, Google Sheets, Slack, Google Drive, Airtable or any webhooks from the Integrations tab of the Actor, with no code. Apify also offers native actions for Make, n8n and Zapier.
API, SDKs and AI agents. Every run is available through the Apify API and the official JavaScript and Python clients; the Actor can also be called by AI agents through the Apify MCP server. The example input in the API tab is a working call.
Count only. countOnly returns the number of matching job ads and the estimated cost without delivering anything, so you can size a job before paying for it.
Only new rows across boards. The memory holds the ids of every board's version of a job. If a job reached you from Jobicy on Monday and shows up on We Work Remotely on Wednesday, the Wednesday run skips it, because it is the same job. A job that appears on a second board after you already received it is not delivered again.
The 60-minute copy. Jobicy asks integrations to start a new pass no more than once an hour, and the We Work Remotely feeds declare a refresh time of 60 minutes. The actor therefore keeps each answer for 60 minutes in a named key-value store of your own Apify account called rowcraft-remote-jobs-cache (one record per filter set). A second run inside the hour reads the copy, sends no request to the board, and says so in the run summary and in the COVERAGE record, for example Jobicy: cached response from 14:05 UTC, the source asks for at most one pass per hour. Filters are applied again to the copy, so two runs with different keywords still give the right rows. To force a fresh read, wait an hour or delete that store in the Storage tab of Apify Console.
Use cases
- Remote job boards and newsletters: fill a niche board (a stack, a profession, a region) with fresh remote jobs from three sources, keeping the link and the name of the board a job came from.
- Job alerts: a daily or hourly feed of new jobs that match your keywords and place, sent to Slack, Telegram, a sheet or an e-mail tool.
- Salary research: pay ranges by role and category from Remote OK and Jobicy, in one table with currency and period.
- Market watch for recruiters and agencies: which companies hire remotely right now, in which categories, and on how many boards at once, shown by
alsoListedOn. - Career tools and AI agents: give an assistant a clean, de-duplicated list of current remote jobs through the Apify API or the MCP server.
Ready-made examples, each with the input filled in (open one and press Start, or save it as your own task):
What this actor does not do
- Read Himalayas. That board has its own actor, the Himalayas Jobs Scraper, with more filters for that board (see the list of other Rowcraft actors below).
- Read LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor or any other job board. Only Remote OK, We Work Remotely and Jobicy are read.
- Apply to jobs for you, fill in application forms or contact employers.
- Deliver recruiter or contact-person names, e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
- Read the boards' web pages. Only the Remote OK API, the Jobicy API and the We Work Remotely RSS feeds are used; nothing is taken from the HTML pages.
- Show Jobicy jobs older than 7 days. Jobicy publishes only the last 7 days and shows each job about 3 hours after it is posted, and Jobicy asks for at most one pass per hour, so this actor keeps its Jobicy answers for 60 minutes.
- Log in, use residential proxies or solve CAPTCHAs.
- Fix what the boards publish. A job with no salary stays without a salary, and a wrong category chosen by an employer on a board is the board's label.
Limits and fair use
- Speed: one request per second to each board by default (the lowest allowed). A full read of all three boards is about 15 to 20 requests: one to Remote OK, one to a few pages of 200 jobs from Jobicy, and 12 feeds from We Work Remotely, which takes 20 to 30 seconds.
- How far back each board goes: Remote OK's API returns its newest jobs only, 99 of them in October 2026, posted over about ten weeks; We Work Remotely feeds hold the listings that are currently open (about 420 in October 2026); Jobicy covers 7 days. The
postedWithinDayssetting cuts all three at the same age. - Jobicy once an hour: see the 60-minute copy above. Several runs inside one hour with the same filters send one set of requests to Jobicy, not several. An answer larger than about 12 MB (every Jobicy job of a week with full descriptions and no filter) is not stored, so narrow the filters if you want the copy to apply.
- Refusals are reported, not forced: if a board answers with a block page, a 403, a 429 or a
robots.txtthat disallows the request, the actor does not retry around it. That board is marked inCOVERAGEand in the run summary, the other boards are still read, and nothing is charged for it. After three refused We Work Remotely feeds in a row, the remaining feeds are marked as not checked. - Duplicates are merged after your filters. If a job matches on Jobicy but its twin on We Work Remotely does not match (for example because Only jobs with a salary is on and We Work Remotely shows no salary), the row names only the boards that matched.
- Time limit: a run stops by itself 90 seconds before its timeout, keeps everything delivered and says
time limitin the run summary; with Only new rows the next run continues without repeats. - Place filter:
locationContainsmatches the place text the board gives. Remote OK often leaves the place empty, and an empty place never matches a place filter.
Data source
The data comes from three public interfaces, each read the way its owner describes:
- Remote OK: the JSON API at remoteok.com/api. The first element of its answer is a legal notice, not a job, and is skipped. The API terms ask users to link back to the job on Remote OK and to name Remote OK as the source. Every row therefore carries
sourceandsourceUrl. The Remote OK logo and the company logos are not used and not delivered.robots.txtof remoteok.com asks for a pause of one second between requests, which the actor keeps. See remoteok.com for the board itself. - Jobicy: the public API v2 at jobicy.com. Jobicy permits its use in your own products, asks that Jobicy stays the source and that the job's own address is kept, and asks that the apply button leads to the address in the feed;
applyUrlis therefore the Jobicy job page. Its documentation says polling "must not exceed once per hour", which is why answers are kept for 60 minutes. Nothing is read from the Jobicy web pages. - We Work Remotely: the RSS feeds at weworkremotely.com, the main feed and the category feeds. The board states that anyone can use the feed and asks only that you "attribute the links back to We Work Remotely". The feeds declare a refresh time of 60 minutes and
robots.txtallows them.
If you publish these jobs on a website or in a newsletter, keep the link to the job on its board and the name of the board next to it. Rowcraft is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Remote OK, We Work Remotely or Jobicy; the names belong to their owners.
Privacy: no personal data
Rowcraft actors are built not to collect personal data:
- The rows hold job and company fields only. Nothing about applicants, recruiters or board users is requested, and links that open an e-mail or a call (
mailto:,tel:) are never followed or delivered. - E-mail addresses and phone numbers written in a job description are replaced by
[email removed]and[phone removed]. A name that comes right after a contact cue such asContact:,Recruiter:orHiring Manager:, and a name in a self-introduction such as "my name is …", is replaced by[name removed]. - A recruiter's name written freely inside a description, with no such cue, cannot be recognized reliably by any pattern and may remain. For that reason the description is the employer's own text with e-mails and phone numbers masked, not a personal-data-free text. If your use needs a guarantee, turn Include the job description off: the other fields hold no personal data.
You are responsible for using the data in line with the law that applies to you.

FAQ
Which jobs are included? Remote jobs listed on Remote OK, We Work Remotely and Jobicy: software, design, marketing, sales, support, product, data, operations, finance, HR and writing roles, from companies that hire remotely. Each board has its own volume and its own mix, which is the reason to read three at once.
How are duplicates found? A job is the same job when the normalized title and the normalized company are equal and the posting dates are within 3 days of each other. Case, punctuation, words such as remote in brackets and company endings like Inc. or LLC do not matter. Two jobs from the same board are never merged, so two openings with the same title at one company stay two rows.
Which board's data do I get when a job is on several? The first board in your sources list. With the default order that is Remote OK, then Jobicy, then We Work Remotely. The row's alsoListedOn names the other boards and otherSourceUrls links to them.
Why are some Remote OK rows without a place or a category? Remote OK does not give a category, so the actor fills it from words in the title and leaves it empty when no word fits; its place field is often empty too. Empty means the board did not say, and nothing is guessed.
Is the salary always there? No. Remote OK and Jobicy show a salary on some listings only, and We Work Remotely feeds show none. Only jobs with a salary keeps the listings that have one. Remote OK amounts are in US dollars per year (an amount under 1,000 comes without a period, since it may be an hourly rate); Jobicy gives the currency and the period for each listing.
Why do Jobicy jobs only go back 7 days? Jobicy publishes its latest 7 days through its API, with a delay of about 3 hours for new jobs. Setting Posted within the last (days) higher than 7 still adds the older jobs of the other two boards, not of Jobicy.
Why does a second run in the same hour finish in a second? Jobicy asks for at most one pass per hour and the We Work Remotely feeds refresh hourly, so the actor reuses its 60-minute copy and sends no request. The run summary says cached response from HH:MM UTC. The filters are applied again, so the rows still match your new input.
Can I use the jobs on my own job board? The boards allow use of their public interfaces on the condition that you link back to the job on the board and name the board as the source. Read each board's terms before you publish, and keep source and sourceUrl with every job you show. Do not use the Remote OK logo.
Why is a board listed as refused in the run summary? Boards sometimes answer with an anti-bot page or a rate limit. The actor never works around that: it records the board in COVERAGE, reads the others and charges nothing for the refused request. Run it again later, or check the stoppedAt and warnings fields of RUN_SUMMARY.
Does it find jobs for the whole of Europe or for one country? Use locationContains with Europe, EU, Germany or any other word. It matches the place text the board gives, and Worldwide also finds Anywhere.
Can I pay only for new job ads? Yes. Turn on Only new rows since the last run: the actor remembers what it delivered to you and later runs with the same state name deliver (and charge) only the new rows.
How do I get the results into Slack, Google Sheets, Make, n8n or Zapier? Use the Integrations tab of the Actor for the data, and the notifyUrl field for a message when a run ends (Slack and Discord webhooks work directly; catch hooks of Make, n8n and Zapier too).
Can I call it from code or from an AI agent? Yes: through the Apify API, the JavaScript and Python clients, and the Apify MCP server. The API tab shows a working example with the input of this Actor.
Is it legal to use this data? The actor reads the official API described in the Data source section and delivers company and job data without personal data. The licence of the source is described above. How you use the data is your responsibility under the law that applies to you.
Does it collect personal data? No. Contact persons, e-mails and phone numbers are removed and fields about people are never requested. See the Privacy section.
The run finished with 0 rows. Did I pay? No: with no rows delivered nothing is charged apart from the start event. Check the run summary (RUN_SUMMARY) for warnings, widen the filters, or run with Only new rows off if everything matching was already delivered to you.
