New US Business Registrations Scraper
Find businesses in the first weeks of their life. This actor pulls newly registered LLCs, corporations and partnerships straight from official US state business registries — with mailing addresses, registered agents, and (in Connecticut) contact emails.
A brand-new company is the strongest buying signal in B2B: it needs a bank account, insurance, bookkeeping, a website, a logo, payroll and software — and it has not chosen a vendor yet.
What you get
Every record is one registered business:
- Identity — legal business name, state-issued entity ID, entity type (LLC, corporation, nonprofit, partnership), and current status
- Registration date — the date the business was actually filed with the state
- Address — street, city, state, ZIP, and county where the registry publishes it
- Registered agent — agent name and address, which is often the founder or their attorney
- Email — business email address, published for every new Connecticut registration
- Industry — NAICS code where the registry collects one
- Diversity flags — woman-, veteran- and minority-owned indicators (Connecticut)
Coverage
| State | Source | Date field means | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Colorado | Secretary of State | Entity formation date | Registered agent name + address |
| New York | Department of State daily filings | Formation document filing date | Filer address, county, agent for process |
| Connecticut | Secretary of the State | Business registration date | Email address, NAICS code, diversity flags |
| Oregon | Secretary of State | Registry date | Registered agent, link to the state record |
| Texas | Comptroller | Franchise tax responsibility begin date | Address, county code |
Together these registries publish roughly 140,000 new business registrations a month, and most are updated within two days.
Every record carries a dateFieldMeaning field spelling out exactly what its registration date represents in that state, so you never have to guess when comparing across states.
Use cases
- B2B lead generation — reach founders before they have picked a bank, insurer, accountant or payroll provider
- Agency and freelancer prospecting — new companies need a website, branding and marketing from someone
- Financial services outreach — business banking, lending, and insurance targeting at the moment of formation
- Market and territory research — track business formation rates by city, industry or entity type over time
- CRM enrichment — verify a company is really registered, and pull its official legal name and registered address
How to use
- Select one or more States
- Set Registered after (defaults to 30 days ago) and optionally Registered before
- Narrow with City, Business name contains, or Entity type contains (e.g.
LLC) - Leave Active businesses only on to skip companies already dissolved or revoked
- Set Max businesses (default 500; set
0for unlimited) - Run the actor — results appear in the Dataset tab
Running it daily
Set Registered after to yesterday's date and schedule the actor daily to get a continuous feed of brand-new companies.
Fetching more than one run's worth
The actor paginates automatically. To continue past Max businesses, open the Key-value store tab → copy NEXT_PAGE_ID → paste it into Page ID on the next run. If NEXT_PAGE_ID is null, every selected state has been fully fetched.

Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or Google Sheets directly from the Apify console.
Notes
- Field coverage differs by state because each registry publishes a different set of columns. Fields a state does not publish come back as
nullrather than being omitted, so exports stay column-consistent. - New York's feed contains every filing type, mostly routine biennial statements from long-established companies. By default only first-time registration filings are returned — turn on Include all New York filing types if you want the rest.
- Texas publishes a franchise tax responsibility begin date rather than a formation date, so a small number of Texas records carry a date slightly ahead of or behind the actual formation.
