What does Hirist Jobs Scraper do?
Hirist Jobs Scraper searches Hirist (hirist.tech), the Indian job board for software and IT roles, and returns every matching job as a clean row. Type a skill or role such as python, data engineer or devops and you get the job title, company, experience range in years, cities, skill tags, salary in lakhs when the employer shows it, posted date, applicant count and job link. Switch on one option and it also adds the full job description.
It works like a small Hirist jobs API: plain HTTP requests to the same JSON feed the website uses, no browser, no login. A keyword with 100 jobs finishes in a few seconds.
The monitor mode remembers what it has already returned, so a daily schedule gives you only the jobs posted since the previous run.
Why use it?
- Job alerts for India tech roles: schedule a run with monitor mode and send new jobs to email, Slack or a sheet.
- Hiring signals for sales and recruiting: see which companies are hiring for a stack right now and how many people already applied.
- Salary and experience research: compare experience bands and published salary ranges by skill or city.
- Market tracking: each run logs how many live jobs Hirist has for each keyword, so you can follow demand over time.
- AI agents and MCP: one call returns structured job data an agent can filter and rank.

How to scrape Hirist jobs
- Open the actor and enter one or more keywords (one per line).
- Set Max jobs per keyword (100 by default).
- Optional: switch on Include full description, Only new jobs (monitor), or add filters for posting age, your years of experience, cities or remote only.
- Click Start. Results appear in the dataset as they arrive.
- Download them as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the Apify API.
How much does it cost?
You pay $4 per 1,000 jobs ($0.004 per job) plus a tiny $0.00005 start fee per run. The description option does not change the price.
These are free: keywords with no results, failed searches, jobs filtered out by your filters, the same job found again by another keyword in the same run, and in monitor mode every job you already received.
On the Apify free plan, the $5 monthly credit covers about 1,200 jobs.
Input
{"keywords": ["python", "data engineer"],"maxJobsPerKeyword": 100,"includeDescription": true,"monitorMode": false,"postedWithinDays": 7,"experienceYears": 5,"locations": ["Bangalore", "Pune"],"remoteOnly": false}
Output
{"jobId": "1681166","title": "Python Developer - FastAPI","designation": "Python Developer","company": "Techmatters Technologies","companyDomain": "qrata.co","minExperience": 4,"maxExperience": 8,"locations": ["Bangalore"],"remote": false,"tags": ["Python", "Backend Architecture", "RESTful API", "FastAPI", "AI Integration"],"mandatoryTags": ["Python", "RESTful API", "FastAPI"],"salaryMinLakhs": null,"salaryMaxLakhs": null,"postedAt": "2026-10-29T11:10:34.687Z","applyCount": 172,"views": 391,"jobUrl": "https://www.hirist.tech/j/python-developer-fastapi-1681166","keyword": "python","description": "Job Description :\n\nWe are looking for a hands-on Python Developer ...","error": null}
A keyword that returns nothing gives one free row such as {"keyword": "zzqq", "error": "No Hirist jobs match this keyword."}. You can download the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel, HTML or XML.
Tips
- Hirist search covers roughly the last month of postings. For a full history, run monitor mode on a daily schedule and keep the datasets.
- Use several narrow keywords (
react developer,node.js,sde 2) rather than one broad one. A job found by two keywords is saved and charged once. - Monitor mode keys its memory on the keyword list and the location, experience and remote filters. Change any of them and it starts a fresh memory, so the next run is a first run again.
- On a first monitor run, jobs past Max jobs per keyword are remembered but not saved. Raise the limit for that run if you want the whole backlog.
- Hirist ignores symbols in a search, so
c++,c#andcreturn the same jobs. Add a word, such asc++ developeror.net core, to narrow it. - Filters run after the search, so filtered-out jobs cost nothing.
FAQ
Do I need a Hirist account or a proxy?
No. The actor reads public listings without logging in, and Hirist answers plain requests, so the proxy is off by default.
How does monitor mode decide what is new?
It stores the job IDs it has seen for your keyword list and filters in a key-value store in your Apify account. Later runs with the same keywords skip those IDs and save only the rest.
Why is the salary empty for most jobs?
Most employers on Hirist hide the salary. When they publish it, you get the range in INR lakhs a year.
Can I use it with an AI agent?
Yes. It runs from the Apify API, the Apify MCP server and any agent framework that can call an Apify actor.
