What does SEEK Job Scraper do?

SEEK Job Scraper gets job listings from SEEK Australia and New Zealand, Jobstreet (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines) and JobsDB (Hong Kong, Thailand) in one run. Type a keyword such as developer or registered nurse, pick the markets, and get a clean dataset of job titles, companies, locations, salaries, work types, job categories, listing dates, bullet points and, if you want, the full job description.

All eight job boards run on the same platform, so one input covers them all: a SEEK scraper, a Jobstreet scraper and a JobsDB scraper in one Actor. It works like a SEEK jobs API: it reads the same public JSON endpoints the job boards' own search pages use. Plain HTTP, no browser, no login, so it is fast and costs $0.90 per 1,000 jobs.

What makes it different:

• 8 markets in one input: AU, NZ, MY, SG, ID, PH, HK and TH. Each keyword runs in every market you select.
• Gets past SEEK's 500-result limit. SEEK Australia and New Zealand show at most 500 jobs per search. When you ask for more, the Actor splits the search by job category and work type and removes duplicates, so you can collect thousands of jobs for one keyword.
• The cheapest full descriptions: $0.0006 extra per job, $1.50 per 1,000 jobs with descriptions in total.
• Clean, typed output: every job has the same fields, with null when the site leaves one empty.

How to scrape SEEK, Jobstreet and JobsDB jobs

1. Enter one or more Keywords (job titles, skills or company names). Leave it empty to get the newest jobs of any kind.
2. Pick the Markets: Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and/or Thailand.
3. Optionally set a Location, Job categories, Work type, Listed in the last N days or a salary range.
4. Turn on Include full job description if you need the whole ad text.
5. Click Start, then download the jobs as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read them through the Apify API.

How much does it cost?

You pay $0.0009 per job saved, which is $0.90 per 1,000 jobs. With Include full job description on, each description adds $0.0006, so $1.50 per 1,000 jobs with descriptions. A description that can't be loaded is not charged, and the job still costs only $0.0009. There is no per-run fee apart from the $0.00005 Actor start event. Searches with no results, unknown markets and blocked requests cost nothing. Set Max jobs in total or a maximum cost per run to stay within budget.

A search with no results, an unknown market or a request that stays blocked after 3 retries produces one item with an error field, and is not charged. You can download the dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML.

Tips

• Leave descriptions off for a fast list of titles, companies, salaries and links: 100 jobs take one request. With descriptions on, each job needs one more request.
• More than 500 jobs from SEEK AU or NZ: set Max jobs per search above 500. The Actor splits the search into one sub-search per job category (then per work type if a category still has more than 500) and removes duplicates. Jobstreet and JobsDB have no such limit.
• Salary filters use local currency (AUD, NZD, MYR, SGD, IDR, PHP, HKD, THB). Jobstreet and JobsDB ads mostly show monthly pay, so set Salary period to monthly there.
• Location is sent to every selected market, so use one market per run when you set it (e.g. Melbourne VIC with AU).
• The same job found by two keywords is saved and charged once.
• SEEK publishes salary only as text (salaryLabel), often empty when the employer hides it; there are no numeric min/max fields.

FAQ

Which job boards are covered?

SEEK Australia (seek.com.au), SEEK New Zealand (seek.co.nz), Jobstreet Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines, and JobsDB Hong Kong and Thailand.

Can I get all jobs without a keyword?

Yes. Leave Keywords empty and you get the newest jobs in each market, filtered by any category, work type, date or salary you set.

Do I need a proxy?

The default Apify datacenter proxy works for all eight markets. Blocked requests are retried up to 3 times on a new IP.

How fresh is the data?

Every run reads the live job boards, so you get the jobs listed at that moment, including the listing date.
