What does Instahyre Jobs Monitor do?
Instahyre Jobs Monitor watches tech job listings on Instahyre, the Indian hiring platform for software, data and product roles, and hands you the results as structured data. Give it a list of skills (Python, React, Golang, DevOps and so on), optionally a few cities and your years of experience, and you get one row per matching opening: the job title, the employer with its headcount, tagline and founding year, the cities, the skill tags and a link to the job page.
Its main job is monitoring. With monitor mode on (the default) the Actor remembers which jobs each skill search has already returned. Schedule it daily and every run gives you only the jobs that appeared since the previous run. You pay only for those, never again for a job you already have. It works like an Instahyre jobs API: start it from the Apify API, a schedule, Make, Zapier, n8n or an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.
Why use it?
- Job seekers: get a daily list of new Kotlin or data engineering openings in Bangalore or Pune, without checking the site every morning.
- Recruiters and agencies: see which product companies started hiring for a stack this week and contact them early.
- Sales and lead generation: a company posting many new engineering roles is growing; use fresh postings as a buying signal.
- Market research: count demand per skill and city over time, and see which skills employers ask for together.
- Job boards and newsletters: feed new Indian tech jobs into your own site or digest on a schedule, with duplicates already removed.
What data can it extract?
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
jobId | 433344 |
title | Python Developer |
companyName, companyTagline | Big Assets Infra, Legacy of trust |
employeeCount | 50 (company size as listed on Instahyre) |
companyFounded | 2021 |
locations | ["Bangalore"] |
skills | ["python", "Django", "fastapi", "flask"] |
jobUrl | link to the job page on Instahyre |
query | the skill search that found the job |
firstSeenAt | when this monitor first saw the job |
scrapedAt | time of this run |
Instahyre's public listing does not show salary, experience range or posting date, so those fields are not included.
How to monitor new Instahyre jobs
- Click Try for free to open the input form.
- Enter one or more skills, one per line, for example
golangandkotlin. - Optionally add cities (Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Work From Home) and your years of experience.
- Keep Only new jobs switched on and click Start. The first run returns the jobs listed today.
- Open Schedules in Apify Console and run the same input daily. Each later run returns only new jobs.
- Download the results or send them on with an integration (Slack, email, Google Sheets, webhooks).
How much does it cost?
The Actor uses pay-per-event pricing: $1 per 1,000 jobs saved, plus a tiny start fee of $0.00005 per run. Searches that find nothing and searches that fail are saved as free error rows. By default the Actor uses the Apify datacenter proxy, at no extra charge to you. In monitor mode a repeat run that finds 15 new jobs costs about $0.015.
On the Apify free plan ($5 of monthly credit) about 4,500 jobs fit in a month, which covers a daily monitor of several skills comfortably. Set a maximum cost per run in the run options and the Actor stops when it is reached.
Input
{"skills": ["golang", "kotlin"],"locations": ["Bangalore", "Pune"],"experienceYears": 4,"maxJobsPerQuery": 200,"onlyNew": true}
skills(required): one search per skill, up to 100 per run.locations: keep jobs whose location contains one of these words. Empty means all of India.experienceYears: Instahyre's own filter for jobs that fit this much experience.maxJobsPerQuery: most jobs saved per skill in one run (default 200).onlyNew: monitor mode, on by default.
Output
{"jobId": "433344","title": "Python Developer","companyName": "Big Assets Infra","companyTagline": "Legacy of trust","employeeCount": 50,"companyFounded": 2021,"locations": ["Bangalore"],"skills": ["python", "Django", "fastapi", "flask"],"jobUrl": "<link to the job page on Instahyre>","query": "python","firstSeenAt": "2026-11-04T06:00:00.000Z","scrapedAt": "2026-11-04T06:00:00.000Z"}

Tips
- The record of seen jobs is kept per skill, city list and experience value. Change the cities and that search starts a fresh record; the other skills keep theirs.
- Instahyre does not sort its results by date, so monitor mode reads the full list for each skill. Broad skills such as
pythontake a minute or two; narrow ones take seconds. - In monitor mode, new jobs past
maxJobsPerQueryin a run are marked as seen without being saved. This matters mostly on the first run: raise the limit if you want the whole current list once. - Turn Only new jobs off to get the full current list on every run (each saved job is charged).
- A job found by two of your skills in the same run is saved and charged once.
- A monitor run that finds nothing new saves one free note row (
errorstarts with "No new jobs"), so you can see it ran. Rows with anerrorfield are never charged. - Very long skill lists in monitor mode can take longer than the run timeout. The Actor stops two minutes before it, keeps its record and lists the skills it did not reach as free rows. Raise the timeout or split the list.
FAQ
Do I need an Instahyre account?
No. The Actor reads the public job search that anyone can open without signing in.
Can it filter by salary or posting date?
No. Instahyre's public listing has no salary or date fields. Monitor mode gives you new jobs since your last run instead, and each job carries the date this monitor first saw it.
How often should I schedule it?
Daily suits most uses. New roles appear on Instahyre throughout the week; how many a daily run saves depends on how popular the skill is.
Is scraping Instahyre legal?
The Actor collects publicly available job listings and no personal data about candidates. You are responsible for using the data in line with the site's terms and the laws that apply to you, including data protection rules such as the GDPR and India's DPDP Act.
