I tried to run a search but checking the output price, it is not the same price I get when I open the link to book (with the same dates and everything, I opened it in incognito).
Hi Daniel, thanks for opening this issue!
Yeah, we are aware of this issue and will be working on a fix for it. Unfortunately, this issue arises from Booking itself, as the price differs depending on the users (scrapers) IP, and it's country. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks under a US proxy.
Basically we will add a proxy country option to the input, however I will note beforehand, that proxy country can often be inaccurate, and ultimately it's up to Booking's decision which country they think the proxy is. Plus, I'm not aware of any way to detect which country we were actually assigned by Booking.
Anyway, we will also add the tax data to the extraction as well as a part of this issue.
I will keep you updated here in the meantime, thanks!
Hi!
Is there any update on that subject? Is the proxy field in the input has been implemented?
Thanks!
Hi, actually yeah a very small one just today :)
This feature is not demanded from almost any users so we putting minimal effort onto it and are prioritizing other things. But today we got some bigger more in-touch user asking about this, so we will probably have a second look at it soon enough. However we were discussing it and will most likely be instead scraping the taxing information instead, but are yet to see :)
I will keep you updated here, thanks!
Hi!
Thank you for your answer! In my case, I'm looking for proxy configuration as I need the data displayed from a specific country. Since prices differ depending on the origin of our ip, I'm not sure scraping taxing informations will help in my case
