Do I need exchange API keys? No — every source is a public, keyless endpoint. Optional Apify proxy helps if you schedule heavy CoinGecko sweeps.

Does it cover Binance/Bybit? Yes — via CoinGecko's aggregated per-contract data (funding, OI, volume, basis), which is not geo-blocked. Exchange-native OKX endpoints power the positioning modes.

How current is the data? OKX liquidation/long-short/taker data updates near-real-time (minutes). CoinGecko derivatives refresh roughly every few minutes. Fear & Greed updates daily.

What are the honest limits? liquidations, longshort, taker, and okx_funding are OKX-venue only (Coinglass's cross-exchange liquidation feed requires a paid API key — the free web page is Cloudflare-protected). CoinGecko free-tier rate limits may hit on multi-runs-per-minute schedules — that's what the proxy option is for.

Can I monitor coins on a schedule? Yes — that's watch mode. Combine with Apify Schedules + webhooks for a self-running derivatives monitor.

Is it legal to scrape this data? The actor only accesses publicly available data — the same pages/APIs a browser sees. Scraping public data for research, monitoring, and analysis is common practice, but platform Terms of Service and the rules in your jurisdiction still apply to how you use it.
