Snapify
Snapify is a simple tool that allows you to capture screenshots and generate PDFs of websites. You can provide a list of URLs, and Snapify will process each one to create visual representations in your desired format.
How to Use
To use Snapify, you need to provide the following inputs:
- List of URLs: Enter one or more website URLs that you want to capture. Snapify will process each URL in the list.
- Output Type: Choose the type of output you want to generate. You can select from:
- PNG: High-quality image format, good for screenshots.
- JPEG: Compressed image format, smaller file size, suitable for web use.
- PDF: Portable Document Format, ideal for creating documents from web pages.
- Image Format (if Output Type is PNG or JPEG): If you choose PNG or JPEG as the output type, you can further select the image format for the screenshot:
- PNG
- JPEG
- Wait Until: This option determines when Snapify considers the webpage fully loaded before taking a screenshot or generating a PDF. You can choose from:
- load: Wait for the page load event.
- domcontentloaded: Wait for the initial HTML document to be loaded and parsed.
- networkidle0: Wait until network connections are idle (no new network requests) for at least 500 ms.
- networkidle2: Wait until network connections are idle for at least 500 ms (only 2 or fewer network requests).
- Delay Before Processing: Specify a delay in milliseconds before Snapify takes the screenshot or PDF. This can be useful for websites with animations or content that loads after a delay.
- Device: Select the type of device to emulate when capturing the website. This affects the viewport width and how the website is rendered:
- Desktop
- Tablet
- Mobile
Example
Let's say you want to take a PNG screenshot of https://example.com
as a desktop view. You would configure Snapify with:
- List of URLs:
https://example.com
- Output Type:
PNG
- Format:
PNG
(default) - Wait Until:
load
(default) - Delay Before Processing:
0
(default) - Device:
Desktop
(default)
Snapify will then generate a PNG screenshot of https://example.com
as it appears on a desktop and save it for you.
This tool is useful for quickly capturing website visuals for documentation, archiving, or analysis.
