How to search for Facebook Pages?

1. locations (required)

Places over the world (city, region, state or country) that you can use to search from. There is a defined list of available locations you can target but you may enter free text that we'll be matched with the available locations.

2. Categories (to be choosed from a list)

A list of categories to match what a page creator choosed to be referenced for on Facebook. There is a defined list of available categories you can target but you may enter free text that we'll be matched with the available categories.

(Categories will be rotated. Putting too many categories for just a few research won't make use of all of them.)

Example: Businesses, Visual Effects Artist or Advertising/Marketing

3. Maximum of results

If you don't want it to be searching for results forever you might want to set the maximum of results you would like to get. (Half kidding here, it might dig way more than you expected to).

(Setting a maximum of results will be balanced with the maximum of searches, if you set one. The script will stop at the first limitation.)

Example: 100, 3400 or 20000

4. Maximum of searches

If you don't want it to be searching (making SERP requests) forever you might want to set the maximum of searches you would like to get. (Half kidding here, it might dig way more than you expected to).

(Setting a maximum of searches will be balanced with the maximum of results, if you set one. The script will stop at the first limitation.)

Example: 1, 200, 10000

Limitations

• The Facebook pages are located as much as possible close to the provided locations. While we run our magic in the background it also as to do with the queries you provide.

Cost of usage

There are two main components to take into account if you want to run Facebook Scraper on the Apify platform:

• Compute units - Used for running the scraper.

• Minimum Actor memory - Recommanded to use 2048MB in memory for conccurency optimization.

• Proxy - To run this actor, you will need to have access to SERP proxies.

The usage costs is mainly dependent on the number of searches (1 search = 1 SERP) you'll run. Setting the maxSearches or maxResults is key.
