Get the companies registered in the last days in four official business registers: UK Companies House, Norway Brreg (Enhetsregisteret), Finland PRH (the YTJ business information system), and France BODACC (the official bulletin of company creations). Filter by registration date, industry code, activity text, company name, and place. You get one row per company with its register number, name, legal form, registration day, industry codes, registered address, and the website when the register lists one. Rows are flat, so they export to CSV or drop into a Clay table.
Features
- Four official registers in one row layout. UK Companies House (on your own free API key), Norway Brreg, Finland PRH, and France BODACC.
- One industry code across countries. UK SIC 2007, Norway SN2007, and Finland TOL 2008 all follow the EU NACE codes, so
62finds IT companies in all three. UK codes come with their English description. - Activity text for France and Norway. BODACC publishes the activity text of each new company and Brreg its stated activity; Activity keywords filters on it in the register's own language.
- Companies only. Sole traders (one person businesses registered under a person's name) and Norwegian bankruptcy estates are never returned.
- Website and domain when listed. Norway and Finland list a website for some new companies; the row carries it and its domain.
- Scheduling. Only new results skips companies an earlier run with the same state key returned, and skipped companies are free. Run it daily as an Apify schedule for a new business feed.
How it reads the registers
| Register | Source | Key |
|---|---|---|
| UK Companies House | Advanced company search API, by incorporation date and SIC code | Your own free Companies House API key |
| Norway Brreg | Enhetsregisteret open API, by registration date and industry code | None |
| Finland PRH | YTJ open data API v3, by Business ID registration date and main line of business | None |
| France BODACC | Company creation notices (annonces commerciales), legal persons only | None |
Requests go direct. A register that refuses a request is retried once through the Apify proxy. The run summary (key-value store record RUN_SUMMARY) lists, per register, entries read, companies matched, requests, and anything skipped or failed.
Input
| Field | Type | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
registers | array | all four | uk_companies_house, norway_brreg, finland_prh, france_bodacc |
registered_within_days | integer | 7 | Registration window, 1 to 90 days, today included |
industry_codes | array | Industry code prefixes, for example 62, 70.2, 56. France is skipped when this is set | |
activity_keywords | array | Words in the activity text the register publishes, for example logiciel or programvare | |
name_keywords | array | Words in the company name | |
locations | array | City or region names, or short postal code prefixes such as EC1 or 75 | |
active_only | boolean | true | Drop entries already marked dissolved, bankrupt, or in liquidation |
companies_house_api_key | string, secret | Your own free Companies House API key. Without it, UK Companies House is skipped and the run says so | |
max_companies | integer | 200 | Company rows per run, newest first, up to 5,000 |
only_new | boolean | false | Skip companies an earlier run with the same state_key returned |
state_key | string | Names the seen list; one key per schedule | |
max_charge_usd | string | Stop before a row would pass this amount |
Every field also accepts text, as Clay sends it: "true", "30", a comma separated list, or a JSON array.
Output
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
register, country | uk_companies_house, GB |
company_number, company_name | 17529378, FIRST DIGITAL SOLUTIONS LIMITED |
registration_date | 2026-10-19 |
company_type, company_status | ltd, active (registered or pending_trade_register in Finland) |
industry_codes, industry_code_scheme, industry_description | ["62020"], UK_SIC_2007, Information technology consultancy activities |
activity_description | the activity text from BODACC or Brreg |
address, postal_code, city, region | 27 Russell Road, N20 0TN, London, London |
website, domain | when the register lists one |
share_capital, capital_currency | 1000, EUR (Norway and France) |
register_url | the company page on the register, or the BODACC notice |
is_new | true with Only new results on |
row_status, error_reason, billable_events_json | ok, null, {"company-row":1} |
When nothing matches, the run returns one free row with row_type no_results and the reason, so a scheduled run always has a row.
Pricing
Pay per event. You pay only these events; the Apify platform and proxy costs of your run are paid by Mamba Labs. The Companies House API is free; your key is only your access to it.
| Event | Free plan | Bronze | Silver | Gold |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Company row (company-row) | $0.0035 | $0.003325 | $0.00315 | $0.002975 |
Actor start (apify-actor-start), once per run | $0.002 | $0.002 | $0.002 | $0.002 |
Free rows: the no results row and companies skipped by Only new results. A run of 100 companies costs about 0.35 USD on the free plan prices. On the Apify free plan the actor stops at 1.50 USD of evaluation a month (about 429 company rows); any paid Apify plan removes that cap.
Usage examples
Apify Console or API
{ "industry_codes": ["62", "70.2"], "registered_within_days": 7, "companies_house_api_key": "your-key" }
{ "registers": ["france_bodacc"], "activity_keywords": ["logiciel", "conseil en informatique"], "locations": ["75", "69"] }
{ "registers": ["norway_brreg", "finland_prh"], "industry_codes": ["56"], "max_companies": 500 }
Clay
Add an HTTP API or Apify column with your industry codes and places, then enrich company_name and domain with your usual waterfall. New companies often have no website yet, so expect domain to be empty for most rows.
Daily new business feed
Save the input as an Apify task with only_new true and a state_key, then schedule it daily. Each run returns only the companies registered since the last one.
MCP
The MCP server @mambalabsdev/mcp-new-company-registrations-feed exposes this actor as a tool for Claude and other MCP clients.
Error handling
| Situation | What you get |
|---|---|
| No Companies House key | UK Companies House is skipped and the run summary and the no results row say so |
| The Companies House key is refused | The UK register reports HTTP 401 in RUN_SUMMARY.per_register; the other registers still return rows |
| A register is down | The other registers still return rows; the failed one and its HTTP status are in RUN_SUMMARY.per_register |
| Every register fails | One free row with row_status blocked and each register's reason |
| Nothing matches | One free row with row_status no_results |
| Only new results finds nothing new | One free row with row_status no_change |
| Max charge reached | The run stops before the next billable row and says why in the status message |
Limitations
- Most new companies have no website yet.
domainis filled only when Brreg or PRH lists a website, which is rare in the first days. Companies House and BODACC publish none. - France BODACC publishes no industry code. With
industry_codesset, France is skipped; useactivity_keywordsin French instead. - Finland PRH publishes a new company a few days after its Business ID is registered, and the main line of business is often not yet set, so an industry filter finds fewer Finnish companies in the newest days.
- Rows are sorted newest registration first among the companies read. UK Companies House returns its matches in its own order, and the actor reads up to three times
max_companiesof them, so a smallmax_companiescan miss some of the newest UK companies. - Finland PRH lists many new companies as
pending_trade_register: the Business ID is issued and the trade register entry follows. - Sole traders are not returned in any register, because their register entry is a person's name. Company rows can include a person's name only when it is part of the registered company name.
- Each register's terms govern reuse: UK Open Government Licence, Norway NLOD, Finland PRH open data terms (credit PRH as the source), and France Licence Ouverte. You are responsible for how you use the rows, including any marketing rules in the company's country.
