Is this all new companies? No — only entities that obtained an LEI; a global subset (skews financial/regulated), not every incorporation. Do I need an API key? No. Which countries? Global; filter with an ISO 2-letter country. How fresh? Live from GLEIF at run time; default window is the last 7 days. Can I get only active issued LEIs? Yes — entityStatus: ACTIVE, registrationStatus: ISSUED. What is legalForm? The ELF (Entity Legal Form) code from the ISO 20275 list.

🆘 Troubleshooting

• 0 results — widen the date range or drop the country/status filters.
• Want a specific jurisdiction — country filters by legal-address country.
• Too many — lower maxResults or narrow the date window.
• Need full UK incorporations — that requires Companies House (separate actor; needs a free key).
