Quick start (no coding)

1. Click Try for free at the top of this page. A free Apify account is enough – it includes monthly credit.
2. In Products, paste idealo product links (or use Search keywords), then tick the Markets to check – Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, UK.
3. Click Start. Usually about a minute for a few products in several markets.
4. When it says Succeeded, open the Output tab and click Export → Excel (or CSV). One summary row per product and market (lowest, median and highest price, cheapest shop, number of shops) plus one row per shop offer.

Cost: $0.003 per product per market, all offers included – 10 products × 6 markets ≈ $0.18.

Common mistakes

• Only one country came back → tick more Markets.
• Too many rows → turn off Offer rows to keep just the summaries.
• A product isn't sold in a market → you get a free row saying so.

Idealo price API for price monitoring

Call it from your back end with the Apify API. One request runs the Actor and returns the rows as JSON:

• Monitoring: Daily or hourly monitoring: schedule the run with your product list. Each product-market is one billed result with every offer included, so cost doesn't grow with the number of shops. Add an Apify webhook to get notified when each run finishes.
• Cost at volume: 1,000 products × 2 markets a day ≈ $6/day at the free-plan price ($0.003 per product-market).
• Stable output: field names don't change between runs. Failed or empty items come back as status rows that aren't billed, and every row has charged: true/false.
• Why not the official API: idealo doesn't offer an open price-data API. Same product ID works across .de, .at, .fr, .it, .es and .co.uk.

Pricing

Pay per event:

• $3.00 per 1,000 price checks – one product on one market, with all its offers (up to Max offers) and the summary row (cheaper on higher Apify plans: down to $2.20).
• Markets where a product has no offers, products that are not found and failed requests are free. Start fee only $0.00005 per run.

Example: 100 products × 3 markets = 300 price checks ≈ $0.90, offers included.

Tips

• MAP / reseller monitoring: list your products' idealo links, schedule a daily run and flag offers below your minimum price (price per shopName).
• Cross-border pricing: pick several markets – the same product ID is checked in every country – and compare medianPrice per market.
• Competitor watch: sort offer rows by position to see who wins the top spot and with what total price.

FAQ

Is this the official idealo API? No. The Actor reads idealo's public pages without logging in and is not affiliated with idealo.

Why do some markets return no offers? Not every product is sold in every country. Those markets come back as a free no_offers row.

Is the delivery time a date? It is the text idealo shows (e.g. "Mi. 14.10.–Sa. 17.10.2026"), in the language of the market.

Are marketplace sellers included? Offers from marketplaces (eBay, Kaufland, Cdiscount…) are included under the marketplace's name; individual seller names are not collected.

Can I cap what a run costs? Yes – set Maximum cost per run in the run options. The run stops cleanly when the next price check would go over it, and you are never charged more.
