What is Google Maps Scraper?

Google Maps Scraper extracts businesses and places from Google Maps search results. Give it a search term and a location ("dentist" in "Austin, TX", "restoran" in "Kadıköy, İstanbul") and it returns one row per place: name, category, full address, phone, website, rating, review count, coordinates, today's opening hours and the Google Maps link. How to use Google Maps Scraper

  1. Enter one or more search terms: a string (separate several with ;, e.g. dentist; orthodontist) or a JSON array (["dentist", "orthodontist"]).
  2. Enter a location: city, district, region or country.
  3. Set Max places per search (up to 120, Google's own limit per search).
  4. Optional: set language and country for local results, minimum rating, or skip closed places.
  5. Run it and download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or read them through the API.

Is it legal to scrape Google Maps? It collects publicly visible business listings without logging in. You are responsible for how you use the data, especially under privacy and anti-spam laws when contacting businesses.

Why do I get at most ~120 places per search? Google itself stops returning results after about 120 per search. For bigger areas, run one search per city or district ("dentist" in each borough).

Why is the phone or website empty for some places? Not every business lists one on Google Maps.

Does it get reviews or all opening hours? No. Search results carry only today's hours and the review count. This Actor stays fast and cheap by not opening every place page.
