What is Redfin Scraper?

Redfin Scraper extracts homes for sale from Redfin, one of the largest US real estate sites. Paste any Redfin search URL (a city, ZIP code, county or neighborhood, with whatever filters you set on Redfin: price range, beds, home type…) or just type ZIP codes. It returns every matching home with its price, beds, baths, square feet, price per square foot, lot size, year built, HOA fee, days on market, address, coordinates, listing broker, MLS number, key facts, tags and the listing description. With no login and no browser. $1 per 1,000 homes.

Use it for real-estate market analysis, investment deal sourcing, comps and pricing research, agent and broker lead generation, or tracking new listings in a ZIP code.

How much does it cost?

Pay per result: $0.001 per home ($1 per 1,000), with volume discounts on paid Apify plans. Searches that fail are listed in the ERRORS record and cost nothing. Set Maximum cost per run to cap spend.

Limits

  • Redfin returns at most 350 homes per search. For bigger areas, add several ZIP codes or narrower filters (price bands, home type).
  • The Actor returns the listings of a search, not each home's detail page, so there are no photo galleries, price history or school data.
  • Free-text locations like "Austin, TX" aren't resolved. Use a Redfin URL or a ZIP code.
  • Listing agents' personal contact details aren't collected; the brokerage name is.

Using Redfin Scraper with AI agents

The Actor is pay-per-event with limited permissions, so AI agents can call it through Apify's MCP server (mcp.apify.com), for example with {"searchUrls": ["94110"], "maxHomes": 50}. It also accepts urls, url, zipCodes and startUrls.

FAQ

Is scraping Redfin legal? The Actor reads the public listing data Redfin's own map search loads for any visitor. Listing data is licensed from MLSs, so check that your use (for example, republishing) is allowed.

Can I get sold homes? Yes. Set Redfin's "Sold" filter on the website and paste the URL (e.g. https://www.redfin.com/city/30818/TX/Austin/filter/include=sold-3mo). Rows then have status "Closed", the sale price in price and the sale date in lastSoldDate.
