Get UK public sector procurement notices from the official Find a Tender service (Cabinet Office), the UK's main portal for public contracts. It covers open tenders, planned procurements (pipeline and preliminary market engagement) and contract awards from central government, the NHS, councils, universities and utilities. Each row has the title, description, buyer (name, town, postcode, region, website), CPV code, procurement category and method, estimated value, tender deadline, contract start and end dates, number of lots and, for awards, the awarded value, winning suppliers and award date. There is also a link to the official notice. You can filter by keyword, CPV code, region, buyer, minimum value and open tenders only. Contact names, emails and phone numbers are not included. No login or API key is needed.

Who is it for?

  • Suppliers and bid teams finding new UK public sector opportunities every day.
  • Bid consultants and tender alert services feeding notices into CRMs and email alerts.
  • Market analysts studying who wins contracts and for how much.
  • Journalists and researchers following public spending.

How to use it

  1. Choose the notice stages (open tenders by default).
  2. Set Days back (the default is 7) and optionally add keywords, CPV prefixes (for example 72 for IT services), a region code (for example UKI for London), a buyer or a minimum value.
  3. Set Max results and click Start. Schedule it daily to get a tender alert feed.

Input example

{"stages": ["tender"], "keywords": ["software", "cloud"], "cpvPrefixes": ["72"], "daysBack": 14, "minValue": 100000, "openOnly": true}

Output example

{"noticeId": "103468-2026", "stage": "tender", "title": "Demolition and Clearance of 1-4 & 5-8 Redoubt Court", "procurementCategory": "works", "estimatedValue": 90000, "currency": "GBP", "tenderDeadline": "2026-11-20T23:59:59Z", "buyerName": "Fareham Borough Council", "buyerRegionCode": "UKJ35", "url": "https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/103468-2026"}

How much does it cost?

Pay-per-event: a small fee per notice returned, plus a tiny per-run start fee. There is no subscription and no separate platform usage cost. For example, 1,000 notices cost about $0.50. Searches with no matches and error rows are not charged. Use Max results or Maximum cost per run to cap your spending.

Use it through the API, integrations or AI agents

Run it from the Apify API, on a schedule, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Sheets. AI agents can find and call it through the Apify MCP server. Output is clean JSON with the same fields on every run.

FAQ

Is it legal? Yes. Find a Tender notices are public procurement records, published through an official open API under the Open Government Licence v3.0. To limit personal data, the tool leaves out contact person names, emails and phone numbers. This tool is not affiliated with the UK government.

How is this different from Contracts Finder? Find a Tender has the larger, above-threshold contracts and all notices under the Procurement Act 2023. Contracts Finder has smaller contracts. Use both for full coverage.

Why are some values empty? Not every notice gives a value or CPV code, and planning notices often have no deadline yet.

How far back can I go? Up to 365 days per run. Raise Max pages to scan for long periods.
