Bandsintown Scraper | Concerts, Tour Dates and Tickets (2026)

Bandsintown concerts, 39 fields each, from any search.

From SilentFlow. Creators of Facebook Search Scraper and Pinterest Scraper, with 590,000+ combined lifetime runs.

Every Bandsintown concert as a clean spreadsheet row: when it starts in the venue's own time zone, where it is down to the street address and coordinates, who sells the tickets, and who plays, with the artist's followers and links on the same row. Search by artist, paste any Bandsintown link, or list every show around a city.

Why choose this actor?

Copying tour dates from Bandsintown one artist page at a time? Getting "8:00 PM" with no idea which time zone it means? Ending up with a venue name but no address to map, mail or geocode?

  • 37 filled fields per concert, not a bare list of dates. On our default run (Metallica, 32 upcoming concerts) 37 data fields were filled on at least half of the rows: the venue's street address, postal code, city, region, country code and coordinates, the start time with the venue's own offset and time zone name, the ticket link, seller and status, the on-sale time, the lineup, and the artist's Bandsintown followers, upcoming show count, website, Spotify, Instagram and Facebook. Every row has the same 44 columns, flat, ready for a spreadsheet.
  • Four ways in: artist names, artist IDs, Bandsintown links or a city. Type artist names the way you would in the Bandsintown search box, paste Bandsintown artist IDs, or paste artist, event and city links straight from bandsintown.com, all in the same run. A test run mixing one artist ID, one artist link, one event link and one city link returned 76 events from all 4 inputs.
  • Every concert around a city, by genre and date. Type a city such as Austin, TX or London, pick a genre and a period, and get every event nearby with the same venue, ticket and artist details as an artist search. Austin, rock, next 7 days returned 80 events, 78 of them with the venue's street address. London returned 300 upcoming events, all 300 with the venue's coordinates, 287 with its street address and 286 with a ticket link.

How it works

Copy to your AI assistant

Paste this block into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any coding assistant to give it the full picture of this actor:

You have access to the Bandsintown Scraper on Apify: silentflow/bandsintown-scraper
It reads Bandsintown (bandsintown.com), the concert discovery service where artists list their tour dates.
One row = one concert or live event (club show, arena date, festival day, comedy show, livestream).
Input (no field is required; give at least one of searches, artistIds, startUrls, cities):
- searches (array of strings): artist names, e.g. ["Metallica", "The Weeknd", "AC/DC"].
- artistIds (array of strings): Bandsintown artist IDs, e.g. ["128"]; "id_128" or the artist's link also work.
- startUrls (array of {url}): bandsintown.com links of artists (/a/128-metallica), events
(/e/108007151-metallica-at-sphere) or cities (/c/new-york-ny, /c/new-york-ny/this-week/genre/rock).
- cities (array of strings): city names, e.g. ["London", "Austin, TX", "Paris, France"].
Lists the upcoming events in and around the city.
- genre (string, default "all"): all, alternative, blues, christian-gospel, classical, comedy, country,
electronic, folk, hip-hop, jazz, latin, metal, pop, punk, reggae, rnb-soul, rock. Applies to cities.
- dateFilter (string, default "upcoming"): upcoming, next-7-days, next-30-days, today, past, all.
past and all read an artist's touring history; cities always list upcoming events.
- dateFrom, dateTo (strings, YYYY-MM-DD): a custom period; they win over dateFilter.
- maxItems (integer, default 100): the most events each artist, ID, link or city returns.
Output per event (44 fields, flat; missing values are null):
- id (string), url (string), title (string), description (string|null), lineup (array of strings)
- isFestival (boolean), isFree (boolean|null), isSoldOut (boolean|null)
- artistId, artistName, artistUrl (strings), artistImageUrl, artistMbid (string|null)

- artistLinks (array of {type, url})
- venueName (string), venueStreetAddress, venuePostalCode, venueCity, venueRegion, venueCountry (string|null)
- countryCode (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2, string|null), venueLatitude, venueLongitude (number|null), location (string|null)
- startsAt (RFC 3339 with the venue's offset, e.g. 2026-11-05T20:30:00-08:00), endsAt (string|null)
- timezone (IANA name, e.g. America/Los_Angeles), onSaleAt (RFC 3339 or null)

How to scrape Bandsintown concerts and tour dates

Three inputs, from the simplest to the most targeted. Each one runs as is.

Get the full tour of a few artists

Type the names as you would in the Bandsintown search box. Each artist returns all its upcoming dates, up to 100.

{
"searches": ["Metallica", "The Weeknd", "Ed Sheeran"]
}

List the rock concerts in Austin for the next 7 days

Type a city, pick a genre and a period. You get every matching event in and around the city, with the venue's address and the ticket link.

{
"cities": ["Austin, TX"],
"genre": "rock",
"dateFilter": "next-7-days",
"maxItems": 200
}

Paste the artist's link and set the period. The dates come in calendar order: our run returned the 24 AC/DC shows of 2024, from Gelsenkirchen in May to the last one in August.

{
"startUrls": [{ "url": "https://www.bandsintown.com/a/26647-acdc" }],
"dateFrom": "2024-01-01",
"dateTo": "2024-12-31",
"maxItems": 500
}

No field is required, but give the run at least one artist name, artist ID, link or city.

Formats accepted

  • Artist names: Metallica, the weeknd, AC/DC, Beyonce (accents optional). When a name does not match an artist exactly, the run reads the closest Bandsintown artist and says which one in the log.
  • Artist IDs: 128, 128, id_128, https://www.bandsintown.com/a/128-metallica.
  • Artist links: https://www.bandsintown.com/a/128-metallica, with or without the name, with or without a language prefix such as /fr/.
  • Event links: https://www.bandsintown.com/e/108007151-metallica-at-sphere. The run returns that one event, wherever it is in the artist's calendar.
  • City links: https://www.bandsintown.com/c/new-york-ny, and the filtered versions the site builds, such as /c/new-york-ny/this-week/genre/jazz or /c/austin-tx/today/genre/hip-hop. The period and the genre of the link are kept.
  • Cities: London, Austin, TX, Paris, France, Paris, Texas, Springfield, IL. The state can be its code or its name, the country its name or its two-letter code.
  • Dates: 2026-11-14. A date picker's full timestamp is read as its day.

Venue pages (/v/...) and festival pages (/f/...) are not read yet: the run names them in the log and goes on with the other inputs. Add the venue's city or the festival's artists instead.

What data can you extract from Bandsintown?

Every row is one event, with 44 columns grouped the same way on every row:

GroupFields
Identityid, url, title
Contentdescription, lineup, isFestival, isFree, isSoldOut
ArtistartistId, artistName, artistUrl, artistImageUrl, artistMbid, artistFollowers, artistUpcomingEvents, artistWebsiteUrl, artistSpotifyUrl, artistInstagramUrl, artistFacebookUrl, artistLinks
VenuevenueName, venueStreetAddress, venuePostalCode, venueCity, venueRegion, venueCountry, countryCode, venueLatitude, venueLongitude, location
TimestartsAt, endsAt, timezone, onSaleAt
TicketsticketUrl, ticketStatus, ticketVendor, minPrice, maxPrice, currency, offers
PopularityrsvpCount
RunsearchQuery, scrapedAt

A few facts that help you use the data:

  • startsAt, endsAt and onSaleAt are RFC 3339 times with the venue's own offset: 2026-11-05T20:30:00-08:00 is 8:30 PM in Las Vegas. Read them as they are to show local times, or convert them to UTC to sort events across countries. timezone names the zone (America/Los_Angeles).
  • title is the event's own name when it has one (a festival, a special show), otherwise "Artist at Venue", the name Bandsintown gives the event page.
  • artistLinks keeps every profile the artist lists (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, website and more); the four most asked for have their own columns.
  • artistMbid is the artist's MusicBrainz ID, to join Bandsintown rows with other music data.
  • offers keeps every ticket link of the event; ticketUrl, ticketStatus and ticketVendor repeat the first one for spreadsheets.
  • rsvpCount is the number of fans who said they are going, on events found through a city.
  • An absent value is null, never an empty text, so a filter on "has a postal code" is a filter on null.

The dataset has four views in the Output tab: Events (title, artist, start, venue, city, country, tickets, page), Venues (address, postal code, region, country code, coordinates), Tickets (status, seller, sold out, free, on-sale time, link) and Artists (followers, upcoming shows, website, Spotify, Instagram).

Advanced usage

Five recipes for the jobs that come up most. Each JSON runs as is; the sentence above it says what it gives you.

Watch a roster's new dates every week

Paste your roster's artist IDs and schedule the run weekly in the Schedules tab. Each run returns the upcoming dates of every artist; compare the id column with last week's to spot the dates just announced.

{
"artistIds": ["128", "1371750", "190899"],
"dateFilter": "upcoming",
"maxItems": 300
}

Build a weekend concert calendar for several cities

Set the exact weekend and list your cities. The same event is never saved twice, even when two nearby cities both list it.

{
"cities": ["London", "Manchester", "Paris, France", "Berlin"],
"dateFrom": "2026-11-14",
"dateTo": "2026-11-15",
"maxItems": 500
}

Rebuild a band's complete touring history

past reads every past date Bandsintown keeps for the artist, newest first: 437 past Metallica concerts going back to 2013, 480 for The Weeknd and 193 for AC/DC in our tests.

{
"searches": ["Metallica"],
"dateFilter": "past",
"maxItems": 1000
}

Paste the filtered city page you browse on bandsintown.com: its period and its genre are kept, so this one returns this week's jazz in and around New York.

{
"startUrls": [
{ "url": "https://www.bandsintown.com/c/new-york-ny/this-week/genre/jazz" }
],
"maxItems": 150
}

Check ticket status and on-sale times of specific shows

Paste event links from a shortlist or a resale desk. Each link returns one row with its ticket status, seller, on-sale time and sold-out flag; schedule it daily to see a show sell out.

{
"startUrls": [
{ "url": "https://www.bandsintown.com/e/108007151-metallica-at-sphere" },
{ "url": "https://www.bandsintown.com/e/1038209449-metallica-at-sphere" }
]
}

To send the rows somewhere else, use the dataset's export (CSV, Excel, JSON, XML) or connect the run to Google Sheets, Make, Zapier or a webhook from the Integrations tab. With the Apify API, the items of a run are at https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/{DATASET_ID}/items?format=csv.

FAQ

What is Bandsintown? Bandsintown is a concert discovery service where artists, from stadium acts to local bands, list their tour dates, and fans follow artists to hear about shows near them. It covers concerts worldwide, along with festival days, comedy shows and livestreams. This actor turns those listings into structured rows.

Do I need a Bandsintown account or an API key? No. The actor reads the public listings anyone can see on bandsintown.com. No login, no API key, nothing to install.

What exactly is in one row? One event: its name, date and time in the venue's time zone, the venue's name, street address, postal code, city, region, country and coordinates, the ticket links with seller and status, the on-sale time, the lineup, and the artist's profile (followers, upcoming show count, image, MusicBrainz ID, website, Spotify, Instagram, Facebook and every other link). 44 columns, the same on every row.

How do I find an artist's Bandsintown ID? Open the artist's page on bandsintown.com: the number after /a/ in the address is the ID (https://www.bandsintown.com/a/128-metallica is 128). You can also paste the whole link in Artist IDs or Bandsintown links. An ID points to one exact artist, which helps when tribute bands share a headliner's name.

Are the times in UTC? No, and that is on purpose: a concert at 8:30 PM in Las Vegas reads 2026-11-05T20:30:00-08:00, the local time with its offset, and timezone says America/Los_Angeles. Daylight saving time is applied for each date, so a March show and a November show at the same venue carry their own offset. Convert to UTC when you sort events across countries.

Can I get past concerts? Yes, for artists. Pick Past events, or Past and upcoming, or set your own From and To dates. Past events come newest first; a From and To period comes in calendar order. In our tests Bandsintown kept 437 past Metallica concerts back to 2013, 480 for The Weeknd and 193 for AC/DC. Cities list upcoming events only.

How far around a city does a city search go? As far as the Bandsintown city pages go: the city and the towns nearby. Our Paris run returned events in Paris and in Pantin next door, and our Austin run events in Austin and Lockhart. Use venueCity, venueLatitude and venueLongitude to keep a tighter area.

Why are prices empty on many rows? Bandsintown shows a price only when the ticket seller shares it. On our London run 137 of 300 events had a price with its currency; on the Metallica tour none had one. When there is no price, minPrice, maxPrice and currency are null and the ticket link still works.

Why is the region empty for venues outside the US and Canada? Bandsintown gives a state or province for venues in the United States and Canada only. Everywhere else venueRegion is null, while the city, country, country code, address and coordinates are filled.

Can I scrape many artists or cities in one run? Yes. Add as many names, IDs, links and cities as you need. Max events per input caps each of them, and an event listed by two of your inputs (two artists on the same bill, two nearby cities) is saved once.

How fresh is the data? Live. Every run reads Bandsintown at the time it runs, nothing is cached, so a date announced this morning is in this afternoon's run. Schedule the run to keep a calendar current.

Can I combine the filters? Yes. Cities, genre and dates work together: London + rock + next 7 days gives the rock shows around London this week, and From and To dates narrow any artist or city to an exact period.

Which links stay valid? url (https://www.bandsintown.com/e/{id}) and artistUrl are permanent while the event and the artist are listed, and id and artistId never change. ticketUrl opens the seller's page through Bandsintown. artistImageUrl is hosted by Bandsintown and stays valid as long as the artist keeps that picture.

What if an artist or a city is not found? The run says so in its log and goes on with the other inputs. An artist name that is not an exact match is read as the closest Bandsintown artist, and the log names it, so you can paste its ID instead if it is the wrong one.
