Homedepot Reviews Scraper | Home Depot Customer Reviews, Ratings and Brand Replies (2026)

1 URL. 100 Homedepot reviews. 29 fields per review.

From SilentFlow. Creators of Pinterest Scraper (#1 for โ€œpinterest pins scraperโ€ in Apify Store search) and Leboncoin Scraper Ppe, with 240,000+ combined lifetime runs.

Every customer review of the Home Depot products you care about, one row per review, from a product page, an item id or a keyword. Our test run turned the homedepot.com page of a DeWalt 20V MAX combo kit into 100 written reviews in 1 second, each with its rating, text, verified-buyer flag, helpful votes, the variant the reviewer bought, and the product's brand, model, UPC, category and overall rating, with no Home Depot account.

Why choose this actor?

Scrolling Home Depot reviews ten at a time? Copying item numbers one by one before you can read a single review? Getting rows that never say which variant the buyer had, or whether the brand answered?

  • Everything about a review in one row. Each row carries 39 fields: the review (title, text, rating, sub-ratings for quality, value or delivery, photos), the reviewer (nickname, location, verified buyer, early reviewer, badges), the brand's reply and its date, the variant the reviewer bought, and the product itself (name, brand, model number, UPC, category, image, overall rating, review count). In our three test runs, 29 to 32 of them were filled on at least half the rows. The example row of the most used Home Depot reviews scraper shows 20 keys, and none of them is the variant bought, the brand's reply, the model number, the UPC or the product's rating.
  • Start from a keyword or an item id, not only a link. Type ryobi leaf blower and the run picks the most reviewed Home Depot products that match: 120 verified-buyer reviews of 3 Ryobi blowers in 13 seconds in our test. Type the item ids of your catalog (202634188, 100650378) and you skip the copy-paste of addresses: 100 one- and two-star reviews of a Glacier Bay toilet and a Milwaukee combo kit in 2 seconds, 58% of them with the brand's reply. Product pages, review pages and search pages of homedepot.com work in the same form. The most used Home Depot reviews scraper takes one list of product addresses or ids, and no keyword.
  • Nothing to fill in before you press Start. No field is required: the form opens with a product page already in place and returns 100 reviews as is. The most used Home Depot reviews scraper will not start until you fill its required product field.

How to scrape Home Depot reviews

Three inputs, from the simplest to the most filtered. Each one runs as is.

Get the latest reviews of a product from its page

Copy the address of the product page on homedepot.com and paste it. You get the newest written reviews first.

{
"startUrls": [
{ "url": "https://www.homedepot.com/p/Glacier-Bay-12-in-Rough-In-Two-Piece-1-28-GPF-Single-Flush-Round-Toilet-in-White-Seat-Included-N2428RB-N2428T/202634188" }
],
"maxReviews": 200
}

Read the reviews of the best sellers of a category from a keyword

Type what a shopper would type in the Home Depot search bar. The run reads the most reviewed products whose name, brand or model holds every word, here the five most reviewed cordless drills, 50 reviews each.

{
"keywords": ["cordless drill"],
"maxProducts": 5,
"maxReviews": 50
}

Pull the complaints about your own products, most helpful first

Give the item ids of your catalog, keep the one- and two-star reviews of the last year, and put first the ones other shoppers found helpful. This is the input of our second test run: 100 reviews in 2 seconds, 58% of them answered by the brand.

{
"itemIds": ["202634188", "100650378"],
"maxReviews": 50,
"sortBy": "most_helpful",
"starRatings": ["1", "2"],
"reviewType": "all",
"cutoffDate": "365 days"
}

Accepted product formats:

  • Product page: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-20V-MAX-Cordless-Drill-Impact-Combo-Kit-and-Black-and-Gold-Drill-Bit-Set-21-Piece-DCK240C2W1181/316930365, with or without what follows ? or #
  • Review page of a product: https://www.homedepot.com/p/reviews/{name}/316930365/1, any page number
  • Short product page: https://www.homedepot.com/p/316930365, and pages copied from the mobile site
  • Search page: https://www.homedepot.com/s/cordless%20drill, read as the keyword cordless drill
  • A bare item id in itemIds: 316930365, or the line as printed on the page, Internet #316930365
  • A keyword in keywords: ryobi leaf blower, behr paint, kitchen faucet

A line that is not a homedepot.com product (a homedepot.ca page, a category page, another store) is skipped and named in the log; the rest of the input still runs. The same product given twice (a page and its item id, for instance) is read once.

What data can you extract from Home Depot?

Each row is one review, with 39 top-level fields grouped the way you read them. On our default run, 29 of them carry a value on at least half the rows; over our three test runs, 29 to 32.

GroupFields
Identity (6)id (the review's id, stable), url (the product's review page on homedepot.com, with the review's anchor: one address per review), productId (the item you asked for), productName, productBrand, productUrl (the product page)
Review (6)title, text (plain text, line breaks kept), rating, ratingMax (5), isRecommended, secondaryRatings (the sub-ratings the reviewer gave: Quality, Value, Fulfillment, Delivery, Customer Service and others, depending on the product)
Reviewer (6)userNickname, userLocation, authorId, isVerifiedPurchaser, isEarlyReviewer (review written through Home Depot's early reviewer program), badges
Measures (4)helpfulCount, notHelpfulCount (votes of other shoppers), productRating (the product's overall rating out of 5), productReviewsCount
Product and variant (6)reviewedItemId and reviewedItemName (the size, color or kit the reviewer actually bought), productModelNumber, productUpc, productCategory (Home Depot's department path, such as BATH > TOILETS & SEATS > TOILETS > GLACIER BAY), productImageUrl
Brand reply (3)responseText, responseFrom (the team that answered), responseDate
Time (3)publishedAt, updatedAt (RFC 3339, UTC), language
Media and meta (5)photos (full-size customer photo URLs), isSyndicated and syndicationSource (a review first written on the brand's own site), searchQuery (the keyword that found the product), scrapedAt

A value Home Depot does not give is null, never an empty string. Ratings and counts are numbers, not text.

Home Depot shows the reviews of a whole product family on each product page: the 1 gallon and the 5 gallon of a paint, the round and the elongated version of a toilet, the kit and the tool alone. The row says which one the reviewer bought in reviewedItemId and reviewedItemName, while productId stays the item you asked for. In our default run, every one of the 100 reviews was written on another variant of the kit than the one on the page.

Advanced usage

Five recipes the examples above do not show. Each JSON runs as is.

Watch the new reviews of your product line every week

Give the item ids of your products, keep every review of the last 7 days, star-only ratings included, and schedule the run weekly. Each run returns only the week's reviews, with the brand's reply when your team has answered.

{
"itemIds": ["316930365", "204279858", "100650378"],
"sortBy": "newest",
"reviewType": "all",
"cutoffDate": "7 days",
"maxReviews": 1000
}

Find what buyers say about one defect

Combine star ratings and words: the one- and two-star reviews of a motion-activated kitchen faucet that mention a leak, most helpful first. A quick way to size a quality issue before it shows in returns.

{
"itemIds": ["300358864"],
"starRatings": ["1", "2"],
"reviewSearch": "leak",
"sortBy": "most_helpful",
"maxReviews": 200
}

Benchmark a whole category against your brand

A keyword returns the most reviewed products of a category, up to maxProducts. Set it to 10 and read 200 written reviews of each to compare the products of a shelf, review by review, with productRating and productReviewsCount on every row.

{
"keywords": ["kitchen faucet"],
"maxProducts": 10,
"maxReviews": 200,
"sortBy": "most_helpful"
}

Collect customer photos of a product

Keep only the reviews that carry customer photos. Each row lists the full-size photo links in photos, with the rating and the text that go with them: material for quality checks or for your own product pages, with the rights you need.

{
"startUrls": [
{ "url": "https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-40V-Brushless-20-in-Cordless-Walk-Behind-Self-Propelled-Lawn-Mower-with-6-0-Ah-Battery-Charger-RY401120-Y/311084824" }
],
"reviewType": "with_photos",
"maxReviews": 100
}

Build the full rating history of a best seller

Read every review of a product, star-only ratings included, oldest first: the rating distribution and its trend over the years, ready for a chart or a sentiment model. A BEHR paint like this one carries over 16,000 reviews.

{
"itemIds": ["202761530"],
"reviewType": "all",
"sortBy": "oldest",
"maxReviews": 20000
}

FAQ

What is a Home Depot item id? The number Home Depot gives each product, printed as Internet # under the product title and found at the end of the product address: 316930365 in homedepot.com/p/.../316930365. Paste the address or type the number, both work.

What does the actor return exactly? One row per published customer review, with 39 fields: the review, its rating and sub-ratings, the reviewer, the brand's reply, the photos, the variant bought and the product it is about. The table in "What data can you extract from Home Depot?" lists them all.

Do I need a Home Depot account? No. The actor reads the reviews anyone can see on a product page. No login, no account, no key to set up.

Why do I get fewer rows than the review count on the product page? By default the actor keeps written reviews. Many Home Depot buyers only leave a star rating: on the DeWalt kit of our default run, 3,938 of the 5,222 reviews have text. Set reviewType to all to get the star-only ratings too, with text empty, and match the count of the page. productReviewsCount keeps that count on every row.

Why does a review name another product than the one I asked for? Home Depot shows the reviews of a whole product family together: sizes, colors, kits with or without battery. productId is the item you asked for, reviewedItemId and reviewedItemName the variant the reviewer bought. Two items of the same family give the same reviews: the actor saves each review once.

How does a keyword choose the products? It reads the products Home Depot matches to the keyword, keeps the ones on sale with reviews whose name, brand or model holds every word, and takes the most reviewed first, one per product family, up to maxProducts. When no product name holds every word, the run takes the closest matches and says so in the log.

Can filters be combined? Yes. starRatings, reviewType, reviewSearch and cutoffDate add up: "starRatings": ["1", "2"], "reviewType": "verified_purchasers", "reviewSearch": "battery" and "cutoffDate": "90 days" return the one- and two-star reviews of verified buyers that mention the battery, from the last 90 days. sortBy then decides which come first.

How many reviews can I get? As many as the product has: maxReviews sets the number per product and there is no fixed limit. Best sellers carry 10,000 reviews and more; our test read 100 reviews in about a second.

Can I read several products in one run? Yes. Put as many pages in startUrls, item ids in itemIds and keywords in keywords as you need. maxReviews applies to each product, and a product given twice is read once.

How fresh is the data? Live. Each run reads Home Depot at run time: our weekly-monitoring test of 1 October 2026 returned reviews posted on 30 September.

Are the links permanent? url (the product's review page, with #review-{id} at the end so each review has its own address) and productUrl are permanent homedepot.com addresses, and id, productId and reviewedItemId do not change. A product that left the catalog keeps its reviews; its productUrl is then the short address homedepot.com/p/{itemId}. Photo links point to the media servers behind Home Depot's reviews: download the files you want to archive.

Does it cover Home Depot Canada? No. The actor reads homedepot.com, the US site. A homedepot.ca address is skipped and named in the log.

What time zone are the dates in? publishedAt, updatedAt and responseDate are in UTC, in RFC 3339 format, to the second.
