Propwire Scraper | US Property Owner Leads, Equity, Mortgages and Foreclosures (2026)

Propwire properties, 88 fields each, from any location.

From SilentFlow. Creators of Facebook Search Scraper and JD Products Scraper (#1 for β€œjd scraper” in Apify Store search), with 750,000+ combined lifetime runs.

Every Propwire property you need as one flat lead row: the owner and their mailing address, the value and equity, the mortgages, the tax bill, the foreclosure notice and the lead flags. Our default test run typed Austin, TX, found the 340,828 properties Propwire holds for the city, and saved the first 20 with their full records in about 12 seconds. No Propwire account, no login.

Why choose this actor?

Copying owner names from Propwire one property at a time? Opening every parcel to find who holds the mortgage? Rebuilding a pre-foreclosure list for your county by hand before each mail drop?

  • 86 filled fields per property, not 21 nested keys. On our default run (20 properties in Austin, TX), 86 data fields were filled on at least half of the rows: owner names, owner type, mailing address, absentee and out-of-state flags, estimated value and equity, loan-to-value, last sale, tax assessment and tax bill, the lender, rate, balance and monthly payment of the current mortgage, the transfer history, the APN, county, census tract, subdivision and legal description. The example output of the most used Propwire scraper shows 21 top-level keys, nested the way Propwire sends them.
  • Start from a place, a Propwire link or a property ID. Type Austin, TX, 78753, Travis County, TX, Florida or a street address; paste a search or property page you opened on propwire.com; or give the IDs of the properties you already follow. In our tests a pasted Chicago Heights search, a property link and two IDs came back as 60 rows in about 3 seconds. The most used Propwire scraper searches pasted links and whole states: it takes no city, ZIP code or county as typed text and no bare property ID.
  • The distress details are on the row. In a run on Miami-Dade County pre-foreclosures (single-family homes, highest equity first), 25 of 25 rows came with the notice type, the recording date, the foreclosing lender and the trustee, next to the owner's mailing address and the current loan balance. Build a call or mail list without opening a single property page.

Try Propwire Scraper

Try your first 20 properties

Paste this input in the JSON tab of the Input page and press Start. It reads the first 20 properties Propwire lists for Austin, Texas, with their full records.

{
"locations": ["Austin, TX"],
"maxItems": 20,
"sortBy": "relevance",
"includeDetails": true
}

It runs on the Apify Free plan. Each property becomes one row of your dataset: open the Output tab to see the table, switch to the "Owner contacts" view for names and mailing addresses, to "Equity and debt" for the value, equity, mortgage and tax bill, or to "Foreclosure and distress" for notices and auctions. Export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel.

It reads US property and owner records from Propwire (propwire.com), without an account, and
returns one row per property.
Input schema (no field is required; with no place, link or id it reads Austin, TX):
- locations (array of strings): US places as typed in Propwire's search bar: "Austin, TX", "78753",
"Travis County, TX", "Florida", or a street address "308 Holliday Ct, Austin, TX". Add the state
to a city name.
- startUrls (array of {url}): propwire.com search pages (/search?filters=...) or property pages
(/realestate/<street>/<id>/property-details). A search link keeps its own filters.
- propertyIds (array of strings): Propwire property ids, the number in a property link.
- maxItems (integer, default 100): properties saved in total, all inputs together.
- leadTypes (array, default none): preforeclosure | auction | bank_owned | absentee_owner |
out_of_state_owner | high_equity | free_and_clear | low_equity | negative_equity | vacant_home |
vacant_lot | zombie_property | tired_landlord | preprobate | empty_nester | cash_buyer |
intrafamily_transfer | flipped_property | adjustable_loan | assumable_loan | private_lender |
mls_active | mls_pending | mls_sold | mls_failed. A property must match ALL the types given.
- propertyTypes (array, default none): sfr | condo | mfh_2_to_4 | mfh_5_plus | mobile | land |
commercial | other.
- minValue, maxValue (integers, US dollars): estimated value range.
- sortBy (string, default "relevance"): relevance | highest_equity_percent | lowest_equity_percent |
highest_equity | highest_value | lowest_value.
- includeDetails (boolean, default true): adds mortgages, transfers, tax bill, foreclosure notice,
APN, county, zoning, owner portfolio and photos. About 2 properties per second when on.
Filters apply to typed places, not to pasted search links. Ids and property links run first.
Output per property (120 fields, null when Propwire does not know the value):

How to scrape Propwire property owner leads

Three inputs, from the simplest to the most targeted. Each one runs as is.

Get the owners of every property in a city

The quickest list: a city with its state and a cap. Each row carries the owner names, the mailing address, the value, the equity and the full record.

{
"locations": ["Phoenix, AZ"],
"maxItems": 100
}

Pull the pre-foreclosures of a county, highest equity first

One lead list, one property type and an order. In our test this input found 1,443 matching homes in Miami-Dade County and saved the first 25 in about 13 seconds, each with its foreclosure notice and trustee.

{
"locations": ["Miami-Dade County, FL"],
"leadTypes": ["preforeclosure"],
"propertyTypes": ["sfr"],
"sortBy": "highest_equity_percent",
"maxItems": 25
}

Find absentee owners with high equity in a value range

Two lead lists together keep only the properties on both, here single-family homes held by absentee owners with high equity, valued between 200,000 and 600,000 dollars, in two ZIP codes.

{
"locations": ["78753", "78758"],
"leadTypes": ["absentee_owner", "high_equity"],
"propertyTypes": ["sfr"],
"minValue": 200000,
"maxValue": 600000,
"sortBy": "highest_equity",
"maxItems": 200
}

Input parameters

FieldTypeDefaultWhat it does
locationsarray of textAustin, TX (prefill)US places as typed in Propwire's search bar: a city with its state, a ZIP code, a county, a state, or a street address.
startUrlsarray of linksnonepropwire.com search pages (with their own filters) or property pages.
propertyIdsarray of textnonePropwire property IDs: 239647. Each ID gives one row.
maxItemsinteger100Properties saved in total, across every place, link and ID.
leadTypesarray of lead listsnoneKeep only properties on all of these Propwire lead lists: preforeclosure, absentee_owner, high_equity, vacant_home and 21 more.
propertyTypesarray of typesnonesfr (single-family), condo, mfh_2_to_4, mfh_5_plus, mobile, land, commercial, other.
minValueintegernoneLowest estimated value, in US dollars.
maxValueintegernoneHighest estimated value, in US dollars.
sortBytextrelevancerelevance (Propwire's order), highest_equity_percent, lowest_equity_percent, highest_equity, highest_value or lowest_value.
includeDetailsbooleantrueAdds each property's full record: mortgages, transfers, tax bill, foreclosure notice, APN, county, zoning, owner portfolio and photos.

Accepted places: a city with its state (Austin, TX, Miami, FL), a ZIP code (78753), a county with or without the word County (Travis County, TX, Miami-Dade County, FL, Orleans Parish, LA), a state by its name or code (Florida, TX), or a full street address (308 Holliday Ct, Austin, TX), which gives that one property. The log says which place each line was read as. A city typed without its state can land on a namesake: Miami alone reads as Miami, Arizona, so write Miami, FL.

Accepted links:

  • https://propwire.com/search?filters=... (any search you built on the site, with its lead lists, property types and ranges)
  • https://propwire.com/realestate/308-Holliday-Ct/239647/property-details
  • https://propwire.com/realestate/577-Nw-120th-St/88485/owner-details (any tab of a property page)

Accepted IDs: 239647 or #239647. A link typed in the places field is read as a link.

How the lead lists combine: Propwire keeps a property only when it is on every list you pick. preforeclosure plus vacant_home returns the vacant homes in pre-foreclosure, which can be a handful in a city. For one list or the other, run one input per list: the dataset never repeats a property already delivered.

A few facts that help when you use the data:

  • id is Propwire's property ID and url the property's permanent page. apn is the county's parcel number, the key to match against tax rolls and county records.
  • ownerNames lists every owner on the deed. ownerMailingAddress, ownerMailingCity, ownerMailingState and ownerMailingZip are where the owner receives mail, which for an absentee owner is not the property. isAbsenteeOwner and isOutOfStateOwner come from Propwire's flags, or from comparing the mailing address with the property when Propwire is silent.
  • isCorporateOwned and isTrustOwned also read the owner names (LLC, Inc, Trust...), so a company Propwire files as an individual is still flagged.
  • estimatedValue, estimatedEquity and estimatedEquityPercent are Propwire's own estimates. Equity can be negative when the recorded loans exceed the value, and a few properties show an equity percentage far above 100: those are Propwire's numbers, kept as they are.
  • mortgageBalance and monthlyPayment add up every current loan; mortgageLender, mortgageRate and the other mortgage... fields describe the first one. currentMortgages has each loan in full.
  • Foreclosure fields are filled only when a notice is on record. foreclosureNoticeType says which one (lis pendens, notice of default, notice of trustee sale), foreclosureCaseNumber and trusteeName let you follow it at the court or the trustee.
  • MLS fields are filled when the property is or was listed: list price, list date, days on market, the listing agent's name, phone and email, and the listing's photos.
  • A value Propwire does not know is null, never an empty text or a 0: a bedroom count of 0 on a recorded house is written as null.
  • Dates are RFC 3339 in UTC (2005-07-12T00:00:00Z). Recording dates carry the day only.
  • Photo links point to Propwire's and the listing service's image servers. Save the photos you want to keep: listing photos can disappear when the listing ends.

Advanced usage

Cover a whole county ZIP code by ZIP code

Propwire pages one search up to 10,000 properties. For a big county, list its ZIP codes: each one is its own search, and a property is never delivered twice.

{
"locations": ["78701", "78702", "78703", "78704", "78705"],
"leadTypes": ["high_equity"],
"maxItems": 5000
}

Refresh the properties already in your pipeline

Give the IDs (or property links) of the properties you follow. Each comes back with its current owner, value, debt, tax bill and lead flags, so a new notice, a sale or a listing shows up on your next run.

{
"propertyIds": ["239647", "88485"],
"startUrls": [
{ "url": "https://propwire.com/realestate/4055-Britt-Rd/51608674/property-details" }
]
}

Run a search you built on propwire.com

Set your filters on the site, copy the address of the results page and paste it. The search keeps all its own filters, including the ones the form does not offer.

{
"startUrls": [
{ "url": "https://propwire.com/search?filters=%7B%22locations%22%3A%5B%7B%22searchType%22%3A%22C%22%2C%22city%22%3A%22Chicago%20Heights%22%2C%22state%22%3A%22IL%22%2C%22title%22%3A%22Chicago%20Heights%2C%20IL%22%7D%5D%7D" }
],
"maxItems": 500
}

Get a weekly list of vacant homes for a mail drop

Save this input as a task and give it a weekly schedule in Apify. Each run lists the vacant single-family homes of the county with the owner's mailing address; open the "Owner contacts" view and export it as CSV for your mail house.

{
"locations": ["Travis County, TX"],
"leadTypes": ["vacant_home"],
"propertyTypes": ["sfr"],
"maxItems": 1000
}

Build a large owner list in seconds

Turn the full records off when you only need owners, values, equity, tax assessment and lead flags. In our test 500 Phoenix properties came back in about 3 seconds this way, against about 46 seconds for 100 properties with full records.

{
"locations": ["Phoenix, AZ"],
"propertyTypes": ["sfr", "condo"],
"includeDetails": false,
"maxItems": 2000
}

FAQ

What is Propwire? Propwire is a free US property search for real estate investors, with owner, equity, mortgage and distress data on homes, land and commercial buildings. It works much like PropStream or BatchLeads, and this actor turns its records into a dataset.

Do I need a Propwire account? No. The actor reads what Propwire shows any visitor. No login, no API key, nothing to install.

Does it give owner phone numbers and emails? No. Propwire's skip tracing is a paid feature of a Propwire account. Each row carries the owner names and mailing address, ready for the skip tracing tool you already use. Listed properties do carry the listing agent's phone and email.

How fresh is the data? Each run reads Propwire live at run time: nothing is cached on our side. Propwire refreshes its own records from county filings and listing feeds, so a recorded sale or notice appears when Propwire has it.

How many properties can one run return? As many as you set in maxItems: there is no fixed limit on our side. Propwire pages one search up to 10,000 properties, so for more than that split a county by ZIP code or by value range. With full records on, expect about 2 properties per second; with them off, our test read 500 properties in about 3 seconds.

Can I search several places in one run? Yes. Put one place per line in locations, add links and IDs if you have them. maxItems counts all of them together, IDs and property links run first, and a property found twice is delivered once.

Why are some fields empty? Propwire does not know every value for every property: foreclosure fields only exist for properties with a notice on record, MLS fields for listed properties, and some counties do not record bedrooms or lot sizes. A missing value is null.

How do the lead lists combine? A property must be on all the lists you pick. absentee_owner plus high_equity returns absentee owners with high equity. For either list, run one input per list.

Are the links permanent? The url of each property is its permanent Propwire page and id never changes. Listing photos (images) come from the listing service and can disappear after the listing ends: download the ones you need.

Why does a city land in the wrong state? Several US cities share a name. Write the state after a comma (Springfield, IL) and check the line the log prints for each place: it says which city, county or ZIP was read.

Is it legal to scrape Propwire? The actor reads public property records the way a visitor's browser shows them, and does not bypass any login. Owner names and mailing addresses are personal data: see the Legal compliance section below.

This Actor extracts publicly available property records from Propwire. It does not bypass any login, paywall or CAPTCHA, and never uses a Propwire account. Users are responsible for complying with Propwire's terms of service and applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, and PIPL where relevant). Rows carry owner names and mailing addresses, which are personal data when the owner is a person: keep only what you need, honor removal and opt-out requests, and follow the rules that govern your outreach, such as the TCPA and do-not-call lists if you call or text owners after skip tracing. The data returned is informational and comes from Propwire's estimates and public records; verify it before any lending, valuation or other regulated decision.
