Apple Maps Scraper | Places, Phones and Emails (2026)

Apple Maps places, 56 fields each, from any search.

From SilentFlow. Creators of Facebook Search Scraper and JD Products Scraper (#1 for โ€œjd scraperโ€ in Apify Store search), with 850,000+ combined lifetime runs.

Every Apple Maps place for a business type and an area, with phone, website, full address, rating, opening hours and photos. 300 dentists across Lyon in 6 seconds.

Why choose this actor?

Need every dentist in a city, not the 20 that fit on one map screen? Checking how thousands of businesses look on Apple Maps, one by one? Copying phone numbers from the Maps app by hand?

  • The whole area, not the first screen. One Apple Maps view holds about 45 places. This actor moves across the area until it has every place you asked for: a search for dentists in Lyon returned 300 distinct places in 6 seconds, 277 of them with a phone number.
  • Three ways in. Search a business type in any city, paste Apple Maps links (places, searches, guides, share links, name and address), or give place IDs. A place ID came back as a full row in 0.6 seconds.
  • Emails and social profiles on demand. Turn on one option and each place's website is read for its emails and its Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and TikTok pages: 8 of 20 Midtown pizzerias came back with an email.

Try Apple Maps Scraper

Try your first 20 places

Paste this input and press Start. It returns the 20 best pizza places in Midtown Manhattan, each with its phone, website, address, rating and hours.

{
"searchQueries": [
"pizza"
],
"location": "Midtown Manhattan, New York",
"maxResults": 20
}

It runs on the Apify Free plan. Each place becomes one row of your dataset: open the Output tab to see the table, then export the rows as JSON, CSV or Excel. No Apple ID, no developer account, no API key.

Already using another Apple Maps actor?

Its input JSON runs here as is: searchQueries (or query), location, placeUrls, startUrls, searchUrls, guideUrls (links or bare guide IDs), maxResults, countryCode, language, sortBy, includeNearbyPlaces, openNow, minRating, hasPhone and hasWebsite. When the input carries one of that format's own keys (countryCode, includeNearbyPlaces, searchUrls, guideUrls, openNow, hasWebsite, query, startUrls), each search returns the places Apple ranks around the location, plus the nearby ones when includeNearbyPlaces is on, as that format expects. The rows keep the same field names and shapes, with flat fields such as street, city, latitude and ratingScore added after them.

What data can you extract from Apple Maps?

Each row is one place with 97 top-level fields. On the 20 Midtown pizzerias of the default input, 54 fields were filled on at least half of the rows; the richest row filled 62.

Thankfully, PizzArte has brought the Neapolitan pie craze to Midtown.\n\nThe specialty pizza here at PizzArte is the flash-fried Montanara pie, but it's the full, surprisingly diverse slate of delicious starters, salads, pizza, and pasta that has us impressed with this place. And that's not the only reason that you should be careful not to write PizzArte off as just another pizza joint. It also happens to be an art gallery. That must have sounded awesome in the business plan. \"You know why MoMa sucks? No pizza.\" \"Sold. Where can I send this sack of gold?\" Or at least that how we assume it went down.\n\nBelieve it or not, the concept kind of works. There's no Banksy or Mr. Brainwash on these walls, but we were impressed with the work of the Neapolitan and Italian artists currently displayed on the restaurant's walls. PizzArte, if you'd like to commission some abstract Infatuation turkey leg artwork for an exhibit, let us know. I'm ready to put these finger paints I got for Christmas to use.",

Advanced usage

Look a business up by name and address

{
"placeUrls": [
"https://maps.apple.com/?q=Joe%27s+Pizza&address=1435+Broadway,+New+York"
]
}

Returns the single best match, which is how listing tools check that a business is on Apple Maps with the right phone and hours.

Refresh known places by ID

{
"placeIds": [
"I9B7EE73B37C8175F",
"I40191A9AB2DFA61E"
]
}

One row per ID, each in well under a second. Schedule it daily to watch phones, hours, ratings or claim status change.

Compare neighborhoods by rating

{
"searchQueries": [
{
"query": "coffee",
"location": "Williamsburg, Brooklyn"
},
{
"query": "coffee",
"location": "Le Marais, Paris"
}
],
"maxResults": 60,
"minRating": "4.5",
"sortBy": "rating"
}

Each search carries its own place; only places rated 4.5 or more are kept, best first.

Export every place of an Apple Maps guide

{
"placeUrls": [
"https://guides.apple.com/?pg=10949139379966581212&lsp=9902"
]
}

Each row records the guide in sourceGuide: its title, publisher, the place's position and what the guide says about it.

Feed a lead list into your CRM with Python

from apify_client import ApifyClient
import csv
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("silentflow/apple-maps-scraper").call(run_input={
"searchQueries": ["dentist"],
"location": "Austin, Texas",
"maxResults": 300,
"hasPhone": True,
"includeContacts": True,
})
with open("austin_dentists.csv", "w", newline="") as f:
w = csv.writer(f)
w.writerow(["name", "phone", "email", "website", "address", "rating"])
for p in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
w.writerow([p["name"], p["phone"], (p["emails"] or [""])[0], p["website"],
(p["address"] or {}).get("full"), p["ratingScore"]])

Results are also available from the run's dataset as JSON, CSV, Excel or XML, through the Console or https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/{DATASET_ID}/items?format=csv.

FAQ

What does this actor extract from Apple Maps? Each place's name, categories, phone, website, full address with coordinates, rating with its source and scale, review snippets, opening hours, amenities, photos, guides that list it and its claim status. With includeContacts, its website's emails and social profiles too.

How many places can one search return? As many as the area holds, up to maxResults. One Apple Maps view shows about 45 places; above that the actor moves across the area. A search for dentists in Lyon returned 300 distinct places.

Do I need an Apple ID, a developer account or a MapKit key? No. The actor reads public Apple Maps data. No login, no key.

Why are some phones, websites or ratings missing? Apple Maps does not publish them for every place. A missing value is null. Use hasPhone to keep only places with a phone.

Where do the ratings come from? From the source Apple Maps shows: Apple's own ratings (out of 100), Yelp, Tripadvisor or other partners (out of 5). rating keeps the original score and scale; ratingScore converts every rating to 0 to 5 so you can compare them.

How fresh is the data? Live: every run reads Apple Maps at that moment. openNow is computed in each place's own time zone at run time.

Can I run several searches and places at once? Yes. Add as many items to searchQueries as you need, each with its own place if you want, and mix them with links and place IDs. A place found twice is saved once.

Does the language change the results? Yes. It sets the language of categories and addresses, and Apple ranks places differently: fr-FR near Paris returns French category names and can change the first results.

Can I keep my input from another Apple Maps actor? Yes. The common format (searchQueries objects with query and location, placeUrls, searchUrls, guideUrls, maxResults, countryCode...) runs as is, and the rows keep the same field names.

How do emails get found? With includeContacts, the actor opens the place's website, then its contact page when the home page shows no address, and keeps real addresses and profile links. Runs take longer since each website is read. Sites that do not answer leave the fields null.

Is it legal to scrape Apple Maps? The actor collects publicly available business information. See the Legal compliance section below.
