Acquire Startup Scraper | Startups for Sale, Prices and Growth (2026)

Acquire startups, 28 fields each, from any keyword.

From SilentFlow. Creators of Facebook Search Scraper and JD Products Scraper (#1 for โ€œjd scraperโ€ in Apify Store search), with 870,000+ combined lifetime runs.

Turn the Acquire.com marketplace into a deal spreadsheet: one row per startup for sale, with the asking price, revenue, profit, growth rate, valuation multiples and the full company profile. 10 AI startups came back in 6 seconds on our test run, no sign-in.

Why choose this actor?

Opening startup listings one by one to copy the asking price and the revenue into a sheet? Blocked by a sign-up wall every time you want to screen more than a handful of deals? Need the growth rate, the multiple and the tech stack of every listing in a vertical before you can build a shortlist?

  • Three ways in: keyword, URL or listing ID. Search the whole marketplace by vertical, paste the exact listings you are tracking, or refresh a watchlist by id. On our test run the keyword ai matched 371 of the 1,246 public listings, and the newest 10 were read in 6 seconds.
  • No account, no session, no login. The scraper reads the public marketplace straight away. No sign-up, no session export, no API key: paste a keyword and press Start, and the first startups land in seconds.
  • Every listing's price and financials on one row. On our test run 27 fields were filled on every one of the 10 startups: asking price and currency, profit and revenue multiples, annual growth rate, trailing-twelve-month revenue and profit, last month's revenue and profit, category, seller country, date founded, team size, business model, tech stack, growth opportunities, competitors, key assets, selling reason and financing.

Try Acquire Scraper free

Try your first Startup

Paste this input in the JSON tab, or keep the prefilled form and press Start. It reads the newest listings whose title contains ai, until 10 startups are saved. On our test run those 10 came back in 6 seconds.

{
"keywords": ["ai"],
"maxItems": 10
}

Runs on the Apify Free plan: sign up, open the actor, press Start. Each startup for sale lands as one row of the dataset, which you can open as a table, download as CSV, Excel or JSON, or read from the API. Drop the keyword for the newest listings across every category, add a category and a country to narrow the feed, or paste listing URLs in the second field.

You have access to the Acquire Scraper on Apify: silentflow/acquire-scraper
It scrapes public startup and SaaS "for sale" listings from Acquire.com (app.acquire.com).
No account, session or API key is needed. One row per startup.
Input schema (all optional):
- keywords (array of strings): keep listings whose title carries these words, e.g. ["ai"], ["shopify"], ["marketplace"]. Empty = newest listings across all categories.
- startUrls (array of URLs): exact listing pages, e.g. https://app.acquire.com/public/<id>-<slug>. When set, filters are ignored.
- listingIds (array of strings): listing ids, the short code at the start of a public URL, e.g. ["oa2pfifwmk"].
- category (string): one of SaaS, Ecommerce, Shopify App, Mobile, Marketplace, Content, Agency, Crypto, AI, Newsletter, Other. Empty = any.
- country (string): a seller country name or ISO code, e.g. "United States", "us" or "usa". Empty = any.
- sort (string): "newest" (default) or "oldest".
- maxItems (integer, default 10): stop after this many startups.

How to scrape Acquire.com startups for sale

Three inputs, from the simplest to a filtered search. Each block runs as is.

Get the newest AI startups on the market

{
"keywords": ["ai"],
"maxItems": 25
}

Keeps the newest listings whose title carries the word ai. Swap in your own vertical: shopify, marketplace, newsletter, crypto.

Scrape specific listings you are tracking

{
"startUrls": [
{ "url": "https://app.acquire.com/public/oa2pfifwmk-b2c-speech-therapy-app" },
{ "url": "https://app.acquire.com/public/cof8s8t6il-shopify-dtc-hemp" }
]
}

Reads the exact pages you paste. Ideal to refresh a hand-picked deal list and watch the asking price move.

Screen profitable SaaS in the United States

{
"category": "SaaS",
"country": "United States",
"sort": "newest",
"maxItems": 50
}

Keeps only SaaS listings from US sellers, newest first. On our test run the first five came back in 5 seconds.

Input parameters

ParameterTypeDescription
keywordsarrayKeep listings whose title carries all of these words. Empty for the newest listings across all categories.
startUrlsarrayExact listing pages to scrape. When set, keyword, category and country are ignored.
listingIdsarrayListing ids, the short code at the start of a public URL.
categorystringOne category: SaaS, Ecommerce, Shopify App, Mobile, Marketplace, Content, Agency, Crypto, AI, Newsletter, Other. Empty for any.
countrystringA seller country, as a name or ISO code. Empty for any.
sortstringnewest (default) or oldest, by the time the listing last changed.
maxItemsintegerStop after this many startups. Default 10, no fixed upper limit.
debugModebooleanExtra logging for troubleshooting. Off by default.

Accepted formats

  • Keywords are matched against the words in each listing's title, so ai matches an "AI helpdesk" listing but not "retail". Several keywords must all appear.
  • Startup URLs are the public pages, https://app.acquire.com/public/<id>-<slug>. The id-only form, https://app.acquire.com/public/<id>, works too.
  • Listing IDs are the short code at the start of a public URL, for example oa2pfifwmk. Pass the id alone or the full id-slug.
  • Country reads a name or an ISO code the way people type it: United States, us and usa all resolve to the same country.

What data can you extract from Acquire.com?

Every row is one startup listed for sale, with its identity, its public financials and its company profile:

  • Identity: id, url, name, category, location, countryCode.
  • Price and financials: askingPrice, currency, profitMultiple, revenueMultiple, annualGrowthRate, ttmRevenue, ttmProfit, lastMonthRevenue, lastMonthProfit.
  • Traction: payingUsers, totalDownloads, monthlyActiveUsers, appStoreRating (filled for app listings that publish them).
  • Company profile: description, askingPriceReasoning, highlights, businessModel, techStack, growthOpportunities, competitors, keyAssets, sellingReasoning, financing, dateFounded, teamSize.
  • Meta: scrapedAt.

Money fields are whole numbers of the listing's currency (a figure shown on the page as 80.6k becomes 80600), so you can sort and filter them in a spreadsheet. Multiples and the growth rate are plain numbers. A metric the listing does not publish is null rather than a blank, so an empty cell always means "not disclosed". The id and the url are stable: the same listing keeps the same id across runs.

Advanced usage

Five recipes beyond the basics. Each block runs as is.

Build a shortlist of profitable Shopify apps

{
"keywords": ["shopify"],
"category": "Shopify App",
"sort": "newest",
"maxItems": 100
}

Keyword and category stack: the keyword narrows the marketplace to Shopify listings, the category keeps only the ones filed as Shopify apps.

Source deals in one country

{
"country": "gb",
"sort": "newest",
"maxItems": 60
}

Reads the newest listings from UK sellers across every category. The country reads an ISO code or a name, so gb, uk and United Kingdom all work.

Refresh a watchlist by id

{
"listingIds": ["oa2pfifwmk", "3mkhrh16d9", "cof8s8t6il"]
}

Re-reads the same listings every run to catch a dropped asking price or a changed status. Store the ids once, re-run on a schedule.

Scan the oldest listings still on the market

{
"sort": "oldest",
"maxItems": 40
}

Flips the order to surface listings that have sat on the marketplace the longest, often the ones open to a lower offer.

Export a whole vertical for analysis

{
"keywords": ["marketplace"],
"maxItems": 300
}

Pulls a full vertical in one run, ready to pivot by asking price, revenue multiple, growth rate or country in a spreadsheet or a notebook.

FAQ

What does this scraper extract? Public startup and SaaS "for sale" listings from Acquire.com: the asking price, valuation multiples, trailing-twelve-month and last-month revenue and profit, growth rate, category, seller country, and the company profile (business model, tech stack, growth opportunities, competitors, key assets, selling reason and financing).

Do I need an Acquire.com account? No. The scraper reads the public marketplace. No sign-up, no login, no API key.

How do I choose which listings to scrape? Three ways: a keyword to search a vertical, startup URLs for exact pages, or listing ids to refresh a watchlist. With none of these, it reads the newest listings across all categories.

Can I filter by category or country? Yes. Set category to one marketplace category and country to a seller country (name or ISO code). These apply to keyword and default runs; hand-picked URLs and ids are read as-is.

How many listings can I get? There is no fixed limit; maxItems stops the run when you have enough. On our test run the marketplace held 1,246 public listings, and the keyword ai matched 371 of them.

How fresh is the data? It is read live at run time, straight from the listing page, with no caching. A run reflects the marketplace as it stands when you press Start.

Why are some fields null? A field is null when the listing does not publish it. App metrics like downloads, active users and store rating only appear on app listings; a SaaS listing leaves them null. The asking price, revenue, profit and company profile are filled on almost every listing.

Is the asking price exact? Yes. The price comes from the listing's structured data as a whole number of the listing's currency, so a price shown as 100k on the page is 100000 in the row. The revenue and profit figures the marketplace abbreviates (for example 80.6k) are expanded the same way.

What is Acquire.com? Acquire.com is a marketplace where founders list startups and SaaS businesses for sale and buyers browse them, a leading platform for small software and e-commerce acquisitions (formerly MicroAcquire). This scraper reads the public side of that marketplace.

Can I scrape several keywords or countries at once? Keywords stack in one run (all must appear in a title). For several countries or categories, run the actor once per filter, or pull everything with no filter and split the rows afterward.

Is the data legal to use? The scraper reads only publicly visible listings and bypasses no login or paywall. You are responsible for how you use the data; see the Legal compliance note below.
